I contacted Mr. Electric to have some potlights taken out and new ones install. I contacted Mr. Electric and spoke with Susan. She got a electrician to come out for a quote in 2 days. The electrician Scott showed up on time, put together the quote, explained in detail what he recommended be done and why. I decided to go with Mr. Electric to do the work and they were able to come back the next week to do the job. I spoke with George in service, as I had some questions about the lights. George was very polite and pleasant and he answered all of my questions, and there were a lot. But no matter how many I asked, he never got annoyed or made me feel like I was being a pest. Scott the electrician did the work and did a fantastic job. He showed up on time, he was polite, and he was extremely careful when doing the work. He put down sheets on my hardwood floors and cleaned up his mess before he left. I would definitely recommend Mr. Electric, they are fantastic. Thanks again, Susan, Linda, Doris, George and Scott!!!

Its always a challenge to select a company from an industry that you have no experience with. I called Mr. Electric (yellow pages) and spoke with Susan who coordinated all my needs and kept me informed of any schedule changes. Very professional. Christmas is coming & I wanted to update some of my light fixtures in our house. I purchased all my fixtures and called Mr. Electric. They came within the time frame that we were given which was great because with a busy schedule, who has time to wait around for 4-5 hrs. Glen was extremely professional and courteous. I had to replace several fixtures so he was there for most part of the day. I was extremely impressed with how well he cleaned up after himself. He even suggested using light dimmers to enhance the ambiance in each room. All we did was replace light fixtures, and these rooms look like they have been renovated. I couldn’t believe the impact it had. Thank you Glen. I would definitely recommend this top shelf company to all my family and friends.

Everything from the first estimate visit to the quote, further communication, actual work and final transaction was done with a surgical precision. Very well done, Mr. Electric, will order again!

Mr. Electric office commutated very well back and forth as Brampton hydro have to have it their way. After that everything went as planned, and the job was done neat and tidy, and the boys cleaned up after them. They were polite and professional and everything worked in the end as well. We decided to finish our basement this past winter. Part of the reno involved moving the Electrical circuit panel. This work needed to be completed within a certain time frame as we were working within tight deadlines. I placed a call to Mr. Electric and received a call back from Susan the same day. She was able to schedule a consultation within 24 hrs. We were very impressed with the fact that Susan accomodated our request at such short notice. After the initial consultation and quote, Scott and Devin were scheduled in less than a week later to complete the work. Both Scott and Devin were easy to work with, provided much advice and guidance, easily shared their knowledge and expertise. They were very respectful of our home and renovation expectations with respect to quality of work, timelines and follow up. They were very accomodating to our requests even if last minute - midstream, we decided to also install pot lights in our upstairs family room. After living with the lighting choice for a few weeks, we decided to switch our lighting from led to halogen simply because we did not like the type of lighting that the led provided. Mr. Electric was quick to respond to our request and made the switch with absolutely no problem!

The rumours are true: Mr. Electric is as GOOD as other people say. This is the first time I used Mr. Electric's service but I was already confident that the job was going to be up to par. I have used Mr. Electric's sister service, Mr. Rooter, a few times beforehand; so I'd assumed that the service was going to be just as great. And I was definitely not let down.

The pricing is reasonable. It does help to become a member (for a minimal fee) for additional discounts at both Mr. Electric and Mr. Rooter.

Communication with Susan at the dispatch centre was smooth and easy. I felt confident that if there had been any problems with the technician, I could always let Susan know.

But in the end, the technician, Ryan, was simply stellar: friendly, professional, and did the job right. Highly recommend him.
