We are a startup company that needed to renovate our office to help attract new employees. With little direction and a lot of creativity, Sarah Kidder Design did a great job!

Sarah is a gem! She came highly recommended to me at a busy time of year, the run up to 2016 Christmas holidays. She accepted a new client with no hesitation and provided advice on paint, paint colour and finish, paint contractors and went shopping with me for floor tiles for the entrance way and for a tiny powder room. Her eye for colours and how to balance traditional with contemporary style in a small footprint saved us from making mistakes at this important finishing stage. When I moved into my “new” home, I had all new furniture, but the colors of the furniture seemed to fight with each other. It was disharmonious, nothing worked together, and it felt like a disaster. I realized that I needed to paint all interior walls, but I was unable to determine what colors could solve my problem. Fortunately, Sarah came to my rescue. She was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. She understood the problem immediately, and then talked to me about my preferences. She asked many questions and listened carefully to ensure that her recommendations would align with my personal style. We went through the house and she took time to select the color for each room, ensuring that the colors were all in the same palette and that they flowed from room to room. She checked to make sure that the suggested colors matched the furniture, cabinets, floors, and décor. The house is now painted in the colors she recommended, and it is a complete and wonderful transformation. The colors enhance the furniture, and tie everything together. The mood of the home is totally different and completely reflects my personality and style. I am now very excited about my new house! I am so appreciative of Sarah and give her my highest recommendation.

I was dreading our kitchen reno... I didn't know where to start or what to choose. Sarah sat with us and helped us through the whole process. She helped us plan the layout. She came shopping with us to help us choose the cupboards, floors, counter, backslash. .. she made the whole experience super easy and actually fun! I now have the kitchen i dreamed about. We get a ton of compliments on our kitchen. Sarah is very knowledgeable, professional, creative, attentive to details and is amazing at what she does. So thrilled to have found Sarah to bring our condo together. Her recommendations for color and pattern was bold, fun and totally us. She had innovative suggestions for design challenges - that basic condo fireplace is now a "Wow" in the room at a cost that was very reasonable. Sarah's contacts in the renovation field were very professional and the final product is top quality. A wasted den space was customized with beautiful cabinetry and our artwork is showcased in a worthy manner. Our home really reflects us, but without Sarah's help it would have stayed in that not quite right stage for awhile.

So glad we found Sarah! She has an absolute amazing eye for colour and textures like no other, bold, adventurous and knows just what works.

Sarah was fantastic from start to finish. She helped me decorate a large space in our new home. I hired Sarah after purchasing a new home - I wanted to create a customized look that felt pulled together but reflected my personality. Sarah did an amazing job -- she created a recommended design for the whole house, and totally nailed it. She came up with lots of ideas I never would have considered, but were just perfect.

Sarah coordinated the whole house design - from paint colour selection, choosing and even purchasing furniture as well as accessories. She has a unique talent of really understanding a client's needs and preferences, and translating it into a space that feels very individualized, and is highly functional.

After spotting Sarah Kidder at the Ottawa Home Show and checking her out on Homestars, we decided to seek her advice on how best to update the main floor and bathroom of our lost-in-the-1980s townhouse. We, homeowners with very different ideas, were sinking into deadlock.

She managed all the contracting, product selection, purchasing and deliveries to make sure we had what we needed when we needed it.
