From the moment I stepped into the showroom at Hampton Kitchens, I knew that this was the place I wanted to deal with. Elysha made me feel so comfortable and helped me with my decisions every step of the way. She was able to put down on paper what I invisioned and my dream kitchen became reality! She was so accomodating with any changes I wanted or needed to make. I am absolutely ecstatic about my new kitchen and countertop. The workmanship is perfect, staff unbelievable and most of all I love showing it off to my friends and family. Hampton Kitchens are the best!

I recently had a Kitchen Installed by Hampton Kitchens. I have never been happier. I was always complaining of the lack of space and that my kitchen was outdated. I had the privelege of dealing with Elysha (Sales Rep) on a Saturday a couple of months back and the design was more then I could have asked for. She created the ideal kitchen for all my needs.
I just had the kitchen installed yesterday and WOW. It is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Everything from the service, quality and even the delivery were top notch.

I am now in the 10 month from signing the contract with this company and still waiting for my kitchen cabinets to be fully completed. Initially there were 2 delays resulting in a 4 week set back from the original install date. When the cabinets arrived there were numerous errors and I refused to let them install. The number of times cabinet doors and mouldings had to be reordered due to improper measurement, colour mismatch, paint imperfections, including the wrong style of crown moulding are too numerous to list. This company is very slow to respond if they do at all. When they do it's a bit of lip service. You must follow up constantly. The quality of the cabinets is okay. Even the installer had difficulty with the install because the bottom of the upper cabinets didn't line up. This required another delay while a corner cabinet had to be remade. There are a few places where the installation looks like a bit of a jigsaw puzzle. In total, I believe an installer has been out 7 times. For the money spent I certainly wouldn't say this is a top custom kitchen (which I replaced due to a fire). A slide-out garbage/recycle can was supposed to be installed under the sink cabinet. No consideration was given to the depth of the sink and plumbing to accomodate the garbage can they supplied. Therefore it couldn't be used and they took it back. I can't find anything that will fit except a 5 litre storage bin which requires multiple trips to the outside garbage bin daily. I'm still waiting for my refund cheque on this item. This company has now opened another showroom location in Oakville. To say this has been a frustrating/aggravating experience is an understatement. I would never ever recommend this company to anybody.

February 2013 Update:
Full kitchen installation now almost 1 year old. Hinges are slipping. Paint is chipping in places that don't even get that much use. Light valance is cheaply covered and is bubbling. One cabinet door has warped. Still the problems with this kitchen continue. Don't waste your money!

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy...
I made a huge mistake hiring this company for my kitchen remodel.
Their lack of communication will have you constantly waiting for them wondering what is going on, including the date of the original install which will not happen as expected and they will not even call to explain.
The ongoing errors in manufacturing and installation will have them re-visit for months after the initial install to a point when you don't even care any more. Add this to the lack of communication and the frustration is huge.
Their references checked out ok , but I should have known there was a problem because it took them quite a while to find me some references. I now realize why.
The cabinets are ok but the hassle is just not worth it..

Things to know:
1. I came to find out they are owned by a local home builder... did a search and found it is a company wide problem.
2. Payment - You will be expected to pay in full when the cabinets are "delivered", yes, before they are installed and before all the problems are resolved. They will not unload the truck without a cheque for the final payment.

I had Rob Hackett, design a cabinet add on for our bathroom for linens and such and it was lovely. The installers did a good job but they are not very careful with surrounding walls, as there were a few dings in the wall when they moved their equipment. I like Rob's design work and he takes the time to put something together that you want and like. It'd be hit and miss with the installers.
