After a sewer backup into my basement, I had the line augured by Rick of Edmonton Emergency Plumbing and Drain Cleaning to help in removing the standing water, and get it flowing away again after removal of tree roots in the city sewer that lead to the backup. In this situation the service was great and friendly, and helped make a rather unpleasant day slightly less to.
Upon further inspection by the City of Edmonton, the sewer line to my house was no-Corrode, so I decided to have the sewer line replaced along with a backwater valve installation. I approached a few different companies, and the quote provided by Brett of Edmonton Emergency Plumbing and Drain Cleaning was very similar to the others, however given the very friendly service I have had from both Rick and Brett I decided to go with them. Brett made certain to mention the rebate program from the City of Edmonton regarding backwater valves prior to offering a quote.
The work done (coring out of old no-corrode with new ABS), as well as the backwater valve was done efficiently and very well, and my house was kept as clean as possible. It readily passed inspection, and was eligible for the rebate.
A few months later I was experiencing slow draining, and Rick came out when he was able to inspect the backwater valve. After calling the City of Edmonton and having the line scoped and augured, it was again determined to be tree roots in the city sewer. Although the work done by Brett did not cause this, Rick made sure to come out and inspect and get information from the guys who worked on my house.
I highly recommend the work done by Edmonton Emergency Plumbing and Drain Cleaning; the work done is great, the service is friendly and they stand by it.
