We had lots of water come through the foundation during a heavy rain storm. 5 Star Cleaning answered and arrived to our home very fast. They explained the process in detail and were very helpful. Danial made sure everything was dry and safe before the project was complete. I recommend their services for water damage.

Bathroom flood carpet drying

I was in a panic when we came home to realize our bathroom have flooded during a building hot water fix. Luckily, the team was able to arrive within the same evening to fix. I desperately needed my basement cleaned after replacing the floor. I spoke to Lisa on a Tuesday and was able to schedule a crew for the Saturday. I appreciate this type of turnaround. Communication was frequent before and after the appointment. As for the quality, my basement has never been cleaner. Every nook and cranny was scrubbed. -Andy

Post-Construction Cleaning

House & Apartment Cleaning review in Toronto

I hired this company to do a post-construction cleaning on our new home, as we did some renovations prior to moving in. The cleaning ladies showed up on time, and did an excellent job, paying attention to detail, staying extra to ensure they do a good job on the entire house. They brought all their own cleaning supplies. Home was dust-free and sparkling. Highly recommend! Side note: I dealt with Danial when booking and he was very friendly and accommodating - we had to change the booking date on short notice because our renovation behind and Danial was able to do that for us. Thanks for a great clean!

Not Good Enough

Got 5 Star Cleaning because I wanted expertise for a post reno cleaning, but I just found I didn't get that for what they charge (which is significantly higher than regular cleaning people charge). Instead of sending 3 people, only two people came from 5 Star, and they did a normal job at a slower pace than other cleaners I've used in the past. Also, there were latex paint drops that 5 star couldn't remove (although they did remove some). Overall, it just felt like a lack of expertise compared to how they promote themselves and charge.

Hi Ravi, thank you for feedback. Our crew was able to do a lot of good work that day, extreme amounts of dust were removed from flooring, washrooms and kitchen. Our crew explained the risk and difficulty of removing paint caused by your painter can damage the floor. All of our pricing is explained and listed multiple times in the emails and phone calls leading up to the project. It's unfortunate we didn't meet your expectation.
