Bruce Tree removed a large tree limb from my property and in doing so, broke off a vintage light fixture that was installed at the end of our property. They were not able to find a replacement. Instead they went to Home Depot and bought a cheap fixture, which they presented to me in a box. As it looked nothing like the original, and after proclaiming this was the best they could do, I gave it back and went on a hunt all over Toronto for an appropriate replacement. I checked out every light fixture store until I was in a hole-in-the-wall lighting store in North Toronto who happened to find, way in the back under some debris, the same light fixture from the past!
Bruce Tree gave me $100 to cover the cost of replacing the fixture, but did not offer to reinstall it. After painting the fixture, I emailed the company asking to have the new replacement fixture reinstalled and they told me that they do not have the equipment to install it and recommended a contractor to me, to have it installed myself. In my opinion, it is not acceptable for a company to damage property and then not make it right, to the best of their ability. This is why I would not recommend this company to others.
