Not only did he get back to me quickly, he returned my call while on vacation thousands of miles away! That is what I call loyalty to customers. Dave was referred from a friend. He was, between being punctual, honest, and forthcoming and did not require 'adult supervision'. That is, given the worksite, he assessed the situation, recommended the repairs and got to work. A great attitude, and equally good workmanship makes Dave a rare find in Ottawa.

When I was doing a major renovation of my kitchen and dining room I was referred to Montana. Dave assessed my requirements, wants and needs, and then came up with a practical plan that could achieve most of what I wanted (I could not afford everything). Dave installed a pony panel, helped us decide where all the electrical should go and then rewired our kitchen to code, nothing like the wiring in our 1960's bungalow! Dave is always on time, does what he needs to without making a big mess and his work is logical. Obviously his handy work gets covered up with drywall but you can be assured that it is safe and done right. Price wise he is fair and competitive. Plus he is just a nice guy to have around working in your house. For my next electrical work Dave is the guy.

David executed the electrical set-up for our hot tub. He worked cooperatively with our landscape contractor and performed the installation in an efficient manner. His work was thorough, tidy and done to a highly professional standard. We were not willing to risk poor electrical work and David provided us with excellent professional knowledge and guidance. We have just moved to the Ottawa area. We contacted Montana Electric for some electrical work in our new family home. Dave arrived to do the work, he was very professional. He installed a new range hood for us. We also had him install new lighting in our basement. He also discovered and corrected some minor electrical issues. He provided sound advice and worked with us to get the lighting we wanted. He did an excellent job at a reasonable price. We have found our new electrician.

Dave came to my house to wire my on suite with 110 and 220 outlets from the breaker in the basement for the relocation of my washer and dryer. I could not be more pleased with his work, demeanor and the price of the job. He was a pro from start to finish. I will definitely call Dave whenever I need electrical work done again. Our old microwave was improperly added to a circuit on the panel and every time we used it the lights would dim. When we bought a new microwave we decided it was time to get the microwave its own circuit. We contacted David, who responded almost immediately to our emails (wow!), and gave us an idea of what needed to be done after we emailed some photos. He arrived pretty much when he said he would and explained everything that he was doing. I really appreciated that he answered my questions, no matter how ignorant they were. I'm not at all an electrician or even knowledgeable about that kind of stuff, but even to my eye all the work was tidy, organized, and well done. The panel we had wasn't a common one, but David was familiar with it and helped me figure out a bit of background to the house. Very reassuring. I would highly recommend Montana Electrical.

After a basement renovation I found out I needed to change my older 200Amp fuse panel to a breaker panel to meet code. I needed to add an arc fault breaker for a bedroom. Panel looks great and the price didn't put the whole project too far over budget. Thanks Dave!
