The home inspection was thorough, showed good knowledge of historical construction methods and typical issues, as well as a solid, methodical inspection technique that revealed several hidden major issues and risks. I would unhesitatingly recommend this inspector to anyone.

DHI did a very thorough inspection of the outside of the house first and then we moved to the inside for more detailed investigations. The final result was that we found some major issues which were not obvious and caused me to back out of the deal. We did love the house.
Second house I hired him back again and we had the same thorough inspection. This time there was nothing major found that could not be solved with a bit of negotiation with the seller. The difference negotiated will go directly to the repair of the issues.
So I spent $1000 but likely saved many times that. Plus I got to walk around with the inspector and learned what to look for. Before my own home is listed I have been repairing many of those questionable issues that have been identified on the other houses.

I conducted a few home inspections by another company for myself and helping my friends. Due to availability of the other company, I hired Diamond House Inspection this time. I am so glad that I made the right choice. Egbert is so well equipped, and was able to put his equipment all in good use. He worked solid 5 hours to cover all the important aspects of the inspection, and further spent 30 minutes to go through the findings with us. Due to the urgent nature of this real estate transaction, he worked hard to deliver a detailed report on the same day. Diamond House Inspection will be my first choice and I highly recommend this company.

Having had experience with 4 separate home inspectors in less than 5 years we have finally found a keeper and someone who we would highly recommend to anyone. Moving is a stressful time as is one year inspections (which is why we recently used Diamond Home Inspection) and you need someone you can trust and someone who genuinely cares about your investment as if it was their own. Egbert is your guy!

He came prepared with all the tools and gadgets to do a thorough inspection, and even investigated items further that were outside his scope. We have a concerns with our front portico not being structural sound and Egbert took all steps he could to investigate and to prepare us in addressing our builder.
