KC was extremely punctual, polite, and took his time in explaining everything to us. The installation was a little more complicated than we initially thought and took more time. However, instead of charging us for the full six hours that he was at our place, he only charged us four hours of his time. We would certainly use KC again for any of our future needs.

KC diagnosed our problem quickly and implemented a complete solution, which included replacing the damaged sink fixture and the leaky drain, as well as the smelly, water-damaged cabinetry under the sink. He did it all quickly and his rates were reasonable. I will be using his services for future jobs and I highly recommend him.

Called KC about the job and he got back to me very quickly. The work was completed within a week and they did a great job. KC is highly professional, showed me the cost of materials and completely cleaned away all the old trash. I have no problem recommending him to anyone.

We had a ceiling fan that needed to be reinstalled correctly as it had fallen out of the ceiling. Within a couple hours, KC had made time for us on short notice and expertly the problem.

A very challenging project as our previous contractor had done a really bad job with regards to electrical, plumbing and drywall of our basement. Not an easy fix and we had an important deadline (my wedding). We knew who to call as KC had worked for us before and his price came in the most reasonable.

We needed a completely renovated bathroom, new larger sleek tiling, new contemporary walk in shower and a double vanity. Thats all we had to say and they took it from there.

In the main bedroom we needed a complete new paint job, wanted a drywall ceiling in place of the drop ceiling and a complete new pot lighting system. It turned out amazing, any minor issues with the lighting were corrected.

In the main living areas again a drywall ceiling, a modern remote sensing light system, and a fresh paint job with crown moulding to accentuate. And hanging the flatscreen tv against the wall. Again amazing work I couldnt recognize it.

KC was very transparent during the quoting period and was upfront about areas where there could be additional expenses because of the condition of our basement. His team's knowledge and craftsmanship in all disciplines (plumbing, electrical, drywall,) and architectural savy Let me sleep in peace.

He was very open to our vision and really took pride into making it happen and that is not easy as my family is very particular. It was also a very modern look which shows knowledge of contemporary trends. because of the scale of the project and time required we had workers in our house daily but never did we feel disturbed or annoyed or obstructed.

Add to this my dad and I are constantly travelling. Yet we were able to coordinate with KC the whole time no matter where we were and he never skipped a beat be it needing direction or having ideas to communicate or correcting any minor items.

We really appreciated his dedication to us and the pride his team took in their work. If ever we had an issue they would correct it if it was to do with their work. The one thing we've always noted about the doktor handyman team on all our projects is they can be very self sufficient if you are at a busy point in your life as we were with so many other things going on. They will always make the right reccomendation.

We would definitely refer them in a heartbeat and will use them again. For a project like ours no other could've worked out like this.

We hired Doktor Handyman to install a retro fit pocket door that our original bathroom contractor told us "couldn't be done". KC and his team came by to quote within days, started the project a couple days later and everything was completed within one week. Very fast, and a reasonable price.
He also provided some good work arounds on problems he encountered without making them a big deal, and when everything was completed he also followed up to make sure we were happy which was a nice touch.

KC and his team did a wonderful job in a very small bathroom space on a very tight budget. He takes time out of his own personal schedule to make sure things get done. We appreciated his commitment to every detail of the project and would gladly recommend his services. There were some unexpected set backs with the plumbing but he took care of the problems and made us feel at ease. If you are hesitating on a project, don't! Rest assured that KC will do an excellent job!

We had a plumbing emergency at our condo. KC made himself available late at night to temporarily stop the issue and then came back the next day to fix the problem. He also efficiently repaired some problem closet doors. KC's customer service is amazing and he goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are satisfied. I would highly recommend!

KC was a pleasure to deal with. He approached a delicate job in a professional and personable manner. He takes the time to teach you about what needs to be done and explains all your options. KC is extremely reliable and gets the job done within the timeline set. He always picks up his phone regardless of the time of day and is patient in answering all of your questions.
