I was kept completely informed both prior to and during the move. Dinko provided quick and helpful answers to my questions. Our move was large – from a four-bedroom house to a five-bedroom house with lots of furniture and well over 100 boxes – and the guys handled it efficiently and with a smile. We used a four-man team and large 28 foot truck – and Augusta’s price for that level of service couldn’t be beat by the other three companies which provided us with quotes. Our final price was in-line with the quote, no last minute surprises.

Dinko was very helpful in coming to our home to provide a fair quote, and discuss certain other aspects of the move (i.e. insurance, large items, truck size). He was also very accommodating and responsive via phone and e-mail as we made revisions to our original arrangements.

The moving team was very pleasant, on-time, worked hard, and careful with our belongings – including shrink- wrapping and using moving blankets for our valued wood and leather furniture at no extra charge.

Just to cut the suspense, this is going to be another perfect 10 review.

From the time our quotation was done to the time the movers left, this has been an amazing "moving" experience! The quotation and booking took no time at all. Our desired date and time were available. Also, the service was just 89/hr and we got a discount where with no charge for travel time. One of the cheapest services out there.

We moved from a small one bedroom apartment to a larger two bedroom apartment. The entire move took 6 hours. We were somewhat prepared, but lots of stuff still needed to be shrink wrapped by the two guys who came. They were punctual, swift, careful, and thoughtful. They also dismantled shelves and my large queen size bedframe in that time. Everything was moved quickly, carefully. Nothing was broken. They notified me when they were on their way, and texted me when they arrived at the building to start the move.

The thing that impressed me was that they did everything with a smile and provided great service under unexpected stress. During the move, they got a parking ticket that as not their fault. They parked in the area that they were instructed to park by my superintendent, but somehow, it was the wrong advice, as they were issued a ticket by the parking police. They didn't even argue about whose fault it is, just took it in stride and took care of the ticket themselves.

My husband did not believe the 10 / 10 reviews, the amazing price per hour,no fuel / wrapping surcharge, the care taken to move our items..it was too good to be true.. but now we are real believers and would recommend this service to all and any who need to move. It's hard to find good movers, but they do exist !!!

I recently had the pleasure to be moved by Augusta Movers. I was in a real bind to find a moving company to help me move my belongings at the end of July. After trying to contact several other moving companies without success I called Augusta Movers for a quote. Dinko came to my home and provided me with a quote and explained the different aspects of the move to me. He was available to help me the day I was planning to move and ended up hiring Augusta Movers. I was very glad that I did. I was very pleased with their professional and polite manner and the very hard work of moving my heavy furniture. Almost all my furniture is very large, awkward and heavy but they handled it with care and ease. They carefully shrink wrapped or disassembled important items to protect them from getting damaged during the move. Great guys, responsible, serious, and very organized. Service amazing, they treated my stuff very carefully. 100% recommended. Their truck was impeccable, they have all the necessary tools and really makes the moving experience much much easier.

Not only they were on time but they arrived and started moving items out of my 3 bedroom house without wasting any time!

The furniture was carefully wrapped with pads and plastic film as they promised! Extremely friendly and protective of your belongings!

I kind of underestimated the amount of the boxes but they didn’t seem to have any problems with that at all. They maintained great attitude throughout the entire move!

3 guys moved me out my old place for less then 9hrs and I paid exactly what I was quoted for the hourly rate. I had few really heavy items and there was no extra charge for that either.

Very professional old fashioned service in my opinion! Worth the price! Hassle free, worry free moving experience! I even left them at one point because they gained the trust in me!

They were professional, on-time and bonus very polite (something that is totally missing in this industry at times). They stayed on budget and brought all the necessary equipment to safely move my furniture. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants to work with an honest group of guys who are up front about cost and time. Definitely will use Augusta Movers again.

I was impressed by Augusta’s service. They arrived on time; friendly, fast and more importantly professional. I already had covered most of my items with plastic, and left some Ikea unimportant furniture, but I was surprised that besides using the moving blankets, they covered all the furniture with plastic, which not only protect them from scratching but also ensure the cleanness of the furniture while moving.

I had a lot of fragile stuff and was pleased that everything was moved without damages. We were done within exactly three hours, and I like the fact that their minimum hours are 3hrs not four like some other companies.

Finally, Augusta will always be my moving company and I absolutely recommend it.
