True North Underpinning

True North just completed underpinning on our 1920's home and they did an excellent job. The service was professional, quick, and of great quality. The crew was responsive to any questions and they worked extremely efficiently. Dan and Josh were excellent on the management side of things, and answered all of my annoying questions. The cost was very competitive compared to other quotes I received.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use True North Underpinning to lower and extend our basement. Daniel was amazing to work with – he was knowledgeable, transparent, trustworthy, reliable, and so helpful. The crew was professional, friendly, hard working, and very considerate. Despite our small property and semi-detached house, the crew was able to manage with minimal disruption to our lives (even while working from home) and kept the site as tidy as possible. The crew was so great we were actually sad to say goodbye! We’re so happy with the experience, and would strongly recommend True North to anyone considering underpinning their home.

We hired Daniel and his team to underpin our semi detached home in North Toronto and it was the best decision we made for our basement renovation. Throughout the whole process Daniel was transparent, friendly and very professional. The project manager Josh and the entire crew were extremely reliable and great at what they did. Even in the hottest summer days, they showed up, worked hard and did it all with a positive attitude. The project was done on time, on budget and exceeded our expectations!

True North Underpinning are phenomenal. Their quality of work and knowledge of this specialized field is the best in the city without question. In addition to their skillset the whole team is very friendly and professional - from the owner Daniel, who is always available, right down to the on-site team we had of Josh, Aubrey and Keith who were available to answer any questions we had and kept a tidy and well organized worksite. They were on schedule and hardly impacted our lives as we lived and worked from home during the underpinning process. Our project was roughly 750sqft and we finished our basement with underfloor heating and concrete floor which we are having polished this month. When our project was complete we were truly sad to say bye to the team they were so lovely!

Daniel and his team fit us in to their schedule last minute when we learned the house required the basement to be dug out and new sewage lines put in. Communication throughout was top notch as was his team - an incredible group who were courteous, punctual and extremely hard-working. They are valued and highly recommended!
