I had a wonderful experience with Five Star. There wasn’t any time to move all of my furniture out of the way so they came in and painted, with all of pictures still up on the walls, and there wasn’t one drop of paint to complain about. The second room they did; I was working in a separate room on my computer. I heard a lot of commotion a lot of laughter, finally I decided to go in and see what was going on. I walked into the room and the entire room was masked and ready to be painted. They were just so efficient and friendly with me and one another which was really nice. Michel helped me to pick out the colours I wanted and then when the job was completed he came back to check in on me. I have 14ft ceilings and when we were discussing prices I told him that the job was getting a little too expensive. We talked about it removed the ceiling out of the job and Michel reduced the price. Just a wonderful company, I can’t say enough good things about FiveStar.

the company came and painted my 2 rooms very quickly and did an good job. Overall, good job was done. Then they did a follow-up call and asked for my opinion and I told them that it was an good job. I was just really relieved I didnt have to deal with another company anymore

I wanted to submit a review for this company as there are very few services that I am unbelievably satisfied with, that when this happens, I just feel like telling my experience to everyone in this world. Michael Zarebski and his professional team of painters, just finished repainting all interior areas in our home and I am beyond happy with the results. From the moment they came to our house to present us with a quote, to moving around furniture and protecting carpeted areas, to sanding and priming the baseboards and handrails, to prepping walls and fixing dents, etc, the level of service that they provided was simply OUTSTANDING. I feel extremely satisfied with the results and would recommend this company to anyone out there in the blink of an eye. :)

We were very impressed with Bruce and his professional, punctual and friendly demeanor. We decided on hiring him, because he was the most personable and professional consultant we interviewed. His price also fell directly in line with other quotes.

I am writing to share my experience with Bruce Hay and Five Star Painting.
Our log house desperately needed to have the cedar stained and the trim repaired and painted. After meeting with Bruce, I decided he was the right person for the job. He was honest and forthright during negotiations and very fairly priced, as well this would apply for any potential additional costs that we could not predict until work commenced. His price was competitive and the contract was professional and easy to understand so I felt comfortable to move forward.
Gladly we did. Bruce and Five Star painting went above and beyond our contract, contributing time and labor to paint extra coats because in his words “it just doesn’t look right.” He also spent an extra few hours to paint our deck chairs and table deck which was an incredible surprise!
Bruce and his crew was very polite and neat, using drop cloths and picking up any trash and end of each day… which was important to us. Upon completion, they left our property clean and presentable.
We are very pleased and plan to have Bruce handle inside work for us. If potential clients would like to ask us any questions, I would be pleased to speak with them. We would have not problem recommending Bruce and Five Star Painting to anyone interested in getting their home painted.

The exterior of my house needed painting as well as my new fence and my skill and knowledge as a painter are no higher than kindergarten finger-painting. So I decided to get a professional to take care of the job. I called Bruce Hay at Five Star Painting. He informed me that he was available to do an estimate at a time best for my schedule. On the phone he was courteous and friendly and very informative. Bruce arrived exactly at the time we arranged and spent a considerable time examining the outside of my house and fence. When Bruce finished surveying my house and fence we discussed types of paint and stain for the fence, again Bruce was informative and knowledgeable. Bruce then told me that he would send me an estimate by e-mail. I obtained a couple more estimates and found Bruce’s estimate to be the best all round and competitive with the others. We agreed to the job and Bruce let me know when the paint crew would be arriving. The Painter Truman arrived early and on time, he let us know what the steps in the painting job would be and began immediately. Truman and his helpers were fantastic; they were professional, courteous, friendly and very hardworking, arriving early and leaving late. After each day they cleaned up the entire work area so that you wouldn’t know they had been there. He went above and beyond as well, he saw that we had a wooden bench that was in need of a painting and he painted it for us. Once the job was complete, Truman took my wife and I around the house and fence so we could find any deficiencies, which were none. Once this was done and we were fully satisfied, Bruce also came by and inspected the job with us to make sure we were happy.
We couldn’t have been happier with the job and I have already recommended Five Star Painting to several of my work colleagues. Thanks again Bruce, Truman and the crew for a job well done.
