WOW 1 DAY PAINTING - TORONTO

Our outdoor deck needed to be refurbished after a few winters of weather and wear. The job was organized and planned efficiently by Ben and it was executed on schedule and professionally by Nancy. A good, friendly and problem-free experience.

Jose and his team were very professional. They showed up on time, clearly explained what they were going to do and finished around the time they estimated after thoroughly cleaning the place. The paint job looks amazing and I would definitely recommend them any time. The whole experience with Wow was outstanding. Thanks!

First time the prep was terrible and the job was 'rushed' to make it done in 1 day! The second time wasn't much better but lasted a few weeks rather than a few days!

Tulio and his team were on time, organized, efficient and very tidy. There was some great team work happening as the crew each took on a part of the job. We had multiple rooms ,hallways and outside work being done all at the same time. It's a great way to get this kind of work done. No lingering job site messes. They're in , they prep the place, the clean up as they go, and then they're gone and we have a freshly painted home!

This is the second time I have used Wow one day painting. The job was completed as promised on time and to complete satisfaction. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable and hardworking. I would definitely hire them again!

Wow 1 Day Painting was very professional. Pat came to do the quote, and walked through the areas to be painted and explained everything that would be done. On the day of the job, the paint arrived about an hour before the crew. Jose and Roberto arrived on time and walked through to see the area, then went to get their gear. They got right to work and I must say that they work very well together. One started to do the cutting in and the other got to work on the repairs. Two coats were applied in the hall and entryway. The kitchen needed a third coat and an extra gallon of paint. Much to my surprise, the extra work and paint did not result in any increase to my cost. All around professionalism was what we experienced from Wow 1 Day Painting. I would use them again and would request Jose and Roberto to do the work. Awesome job.

Below you will find my original review which I have now revised down. I think WOW is very good on the ceiling painting front but I would not recommend them for kitchen cabinets. The paint looked good until it started coming off. While I was told to wait 24 hours before rehanging the cabinet doors I decided to wait 48 hours to ensure it had time to cure. This made no difference. Paint started flaking off from the very beginning and even a week later it was still coming off. I spoke to Sherwin Williams (who supplied the paint) who told us that the main reasons that might happen is if the primer was not given enough time to cure, if the paint went on too thick or it was insufficiently sanded beforehand.

I felt the workers worked very hard but I'm not confident that their model of doing cabinets in a few days is appropriate. In fact, one the workers contacted me shortly after they left and asked if everything was OK and whether the cabinets were sticking to the painters paper they were resting on. (They were!) The painter came a few days later and touched everything up.

Unfortunately the paint continued to flake/scratch off. I have not contacted WOW about this and to be fair to them, I have not given them a second chance to make things right. That’s because my timeline is tight, and to be frank, I assumed I would get the runaround and that you get what you pay for (WOW was the cheapest by far). I’ve since decided to go the spray paint route.

Lastly I should add that I was informed by the company that giving a 10/10 review would result in a bonus for the crew. I liked the crew so perhaps I gushed little more enthusiastically than I might otherwise have.

I was extrely impressed with the work done ny Steph and his team. Steph hand painted our kitchen cabinets and drawers and did a fantastic job. Both Steph and his team were meticulous, organised, and clean and were a pleasure to have around. I would recomend them without reservation .
