We hired Chris to do gas line installation and plumbing in our home based reviews in Homestars. He installed gas lines in the crawl space, replaced an electric stove to gas stove, installed hook fan and did plumbing for the dish washer and refrigerator.
1) He was very punctual. Always came on promised time, finished work on time and budget, and left the work place clean and tidy.
2) Did everything in the proper way. We had some confusion regarding installation of hood fan over the gas stove. Chris contacted authorities and got clarfication. He was not ready to bend the code for the sake of winning the contract.
3) Selection of right materials for the work. When he found the regulator that came with the stove was not good enough, he replaced with a proper one, all included in his original quote.
4) Honest and strigh-forward. He was not ready to cheap out at the cost of quality of work. At the same time when things were working properly, he always acknowledged and did not create any unnecessary work.
5) Very friendly and easy to work with.
Needless to say, I am very impressed and happy with Chris's work. If you need a professional with solid experience, he is the guy to go for. Much better than going for a big company who will be sending different person each time you call.

We called 604 Plumbing Services LTD. because we had very low pressure in the house. Within minutes of Chris being there he had diagnosed the problem and recommended that we get a new hot water tank as plastic bits from the old tank were clogging our faucets.

Chris has been wonderfully reliable and personable every time that I have called him. He comes when he says he is going to come and his prices are reasonable. In an old house, the plumbing and the fixtures can be quite eccentric. He has been able to fix problems in the kitchen and bathrooms to my long term satisfaction. I appreciate the time he has spent to research some of the odd parts that we have required. He is a creative problem solver and seems to really love his trade.

Indeed, this is the only plumber of the 3 (1 service contracted for the new build; the other to repair problems) that we employed who was worth his salt. He came to our house, assessed the problems, sent an invoice for the repairs IN ADVANCE, and fixed the problems -- it was painless. Others charged us significant amounts for the assessment (based on an hourly rate, and little knowledge about high-end fixtures) or partial repairs (without being straightforward about the charges), without leaving us a functional plumbing system.
