I knew Dave from being in the trades and when it was time to install a new washroom I contacted him to do all the plumbing work. It was a new install in a basement, so it needed new piping, venting, sump pit and pump. Dave did a fantastic job from rough in, to installing the shower heads and controls, faucets, and toilet. I recommend Dave whenever I can for all your plumbing needs.

We purchased a new home that needed many little plumbing issues fixed that were discovered during the home inspection. So after looking at reviews we called Dave. He was amazing and told me what I needed to do in order for him to come the next morning. We had 2 toilets fixed one of which was leaking in to the basement, located the issue we were having in a pedestal sink, and fixed the main valve that had a leak in the knob. needless to say he was prompt and polite we nicknamed him the singing plumber!!!! Great service with a song ;)

I have a small leak close to my water meter in the basement, I looked for plumbers in homestar and chose Durham Plumbing based on the rating, David was quick in contacting me, he was on time in visiting my house and identifying the problem and extremely professional in providing an estimate. I definitely recommend him.

I called David on September 9th to visit and diagnose a "simple" leak coming from a modular shower. It did not take him long to precisely locate and diagnose the problem, even though it was in a hidden and almost inaccessible location. He soon discovered a multitude of shortcuts and sins from the previous owner who liked to do things on the cheap with questionable handymen. David methodically dealt with each situation, offering options with no pressure, and prevented major future damage from unseen and undetected problems. Davis is a rare combination of experience, resourcefulness, and craftsmanship with very reasonable prices. He is committed to customer service and takes great pride in a job well done. I can absolutely recommend him, and will use him again in the future.

We purchased a new high end and dishwasher which was, apparently, quite difficult to install. Dave spent much more time on it than he probably does on most dishwashers. After 2 1/2 hours he had succeeded. He always kept a positive attitude, kept us informed, and kept to his price.

We have a few more plans in the works and will most definitely call him back!

Dave is a true professional. After booking an appointment with him, he called back next day and was able to come later that morning! Dave was very thorough and wore floor protectors. He even laid down a surface cover over our laminate flooring in the work area. He respected our home and cleaned up after he was done. My wife and I are in the customer service field and immediately recognized his skills. He is very personable and cheerful. We highly recommend Dave for any plumbing work.

Dave has consistently received top ratings on Home stars, and after having him do some plumbing work at my house I can see why. I rarely give a full 10 to contractors as due to the nature of the work it is hard to start on time, finish on time, and do all work perfectly, but Dave did just that.
Dave is a master plumber and is one of the smaller contractors. Many times I use large well known contractors which cost more, but will always do the best work. For my plumbing work I chose Durham Plumbing and I am glad I did. Even Dave's up front pricing is fair and reasonable. He also found a hard to see Drain erosion that I missed, and I will be calling him back to do this work too. I highly recommend Dave, and his low key, no high pressure, way of doing business.
