Adid Landscaping Stone Work

No warranty on work! We had been given a couple of great referrals for Adid. He came 2 years ago in Sept. 2012 to do our front walk & steps including a walkway from our front steps to our backyard. He also did sodding for a large patch where we had a tree removed. He was very friendly when he came for the estimate & did the work within a month. However, the worker was very messy - left chunks of concrete all over our front lawn and over poured into our garden. We had to have him come back after completion because the flat stone going to the backyard was laid in the wrong direction - and we were charged a fee for it because it was our choice to change it. The overall finish looked nothing like many of the smaller jobs we had seen at other homes in the neighbourhood done by him. Last year, summer of 2013, we called him because the stone was cracking & separating at all the seams & one piece completely cracked off - this particular spot we specifically asked about when it was completed because we were worried about its position & breaking off. He put us off, refused to come back, said he didn't have time. We left it all winter hoping to get him early on in the season to have it fixed. We started calling him a month ago - he was supposed to send out a guy to look at it to find out what needed to be done. No one came. I tried calling him, he answered the phone & when I said my name & address, he hung up the phone. I called back, he didn't answer. My husband called from another number & he answered. He spoke to my husband briefly & told him it wouldn't be until the end of summer or next year until he could even look at it, he was too busy. You can see he does very nice work but I suspect that when it's a smaller job like ours, he does a quick, shotty job and walks away. Shame on us, we paid cash for the sodding which was full of weeds within months & for the repositioning of stones. Poor work, zero follow-up/warranty & Adriatik is extremely rude once he gets paid.

Frank Cupa and Adriatik Mule have been looking after lawn maintenance and snow removal for us for 8 years. They have proved to be reliable, responsive and honest. An elderly lady and her caregivers actually live in the house so we have very much appreciated it when they delivered salt and kept the walk and driveway clear of ice when the salt wasn't enough to do it. Their rates have not changed and they are very personable and conscientious. We recommend them highly.
