Home Climate Pro was easy and professional to deal with, as Matt came out right away to view the work required, and he gave us a reasonable estimate and understood right away what was needed. Mike and Matt arrived on time to complete the work and as a result of their great job, our basement is much more comfortable, and the air circulation in the home has greatly improved! Many thanks. Excellent service! Our air conditioner died on one of the hottest days of the year. They were out first thing the next morning and had us up and running in less than an hour. And for an honest and reasonable price.

Usually when you buy a Groupon, you get iffy service. Both Mat and his wife were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. They even called to say they Mat was delayed at another job by 10 mins - who does that anymore?!

I called Mat this morning 11am, he scheduled me for the job right away at 2pm. On site on time. Diagnosed the problem and clearly explained his observation and potential threats on the problem, providing clear steps of solution with an accurate cost estimate and time estimate on the spot. The job is completed just like what he predicted. Other than that, Mat is very friendly and professional. I am very pleased.

Our AC was really acting up. It would work, then it wouldn't. Then we noticed water in the basement around the AC where it enters the house. I called the original group that sold it to us to discuss and set up an appointment. They were competent on the phone, but hardly warm. Set up an appointment, and then by chance, checking email that same morning, I noticed a Groupon from Home Climate Pro in my email. I called them to discuss what I thought my issue might be. Matt (the owner) took the time for a chat and actually cleared time in his schedule to make time for a quick visit. He tests everything and then found the problem; the system was dirty inside (pets contributed to that). Rather than an expensive repair, he was straight up about everything and in under 90 minutes, our system was performing flawlessly. Matt and his wife (she runs the office, I believe) were genuine, helpful to deal with and in the end, superb value (they were significantly more affordable for the diagnostic and the work than the quote I received form the group who originally sold and installed the system to me). In short, they were exactly the kind of trade anyone would let into their home. I'm a very happy client who was treated very fairly. These folks are a very easy recommendation for me.

After calling, Matt came by the next day to give me a quote and suggestions on what I needed. Their price was fair and the work done was professional and everything was cleaned up after. I have no regrets choosing them, Highly recomend!

We have a rental unit in Ottawa where the A/C died. We live several hours away near Toronto. Called Mat and he arranged to go in the next day, and it was resolved the following day for a very reasonable price. We were very happy, and our tenant was happy. The level of service and communications were outstanding. I just wish all contractors were this efficient and took such obvious pride in what they do!

This winter I bought a furnace humidifier with the intention of installing it myself. It's supposed to be a pretty easy install, and I'm a relatively handy DIY guy. After reading the instructions, I realized that I couldn't follow the instructions because my furnace layout was weird, and the spots that I was supposed to cut the holes had the AC coil instead of empty duct work.
So, I sent HomeClimatePro some pictures and he chuckled at my furnace's ugly layout.
I really wasn't sure how to do this myself without potentially damaging the coil, so I hired HomeClimatePro to come over and do it.
He made quick work of it, and the way he chose to install it wasn't anything like in the instructions.

One of my friends in Quebec is an HVAC guy. I showed him some pictures of the install that HomeClimatePro did because I wanted a second opinion.

Anyway, my wife and I were very happy with the work. Our newborn daughter's dry skin vanished after about a week, and the dry skin on my hands and feet that has plagued me every winter for my whole life was also gone.

Very satisfied with my new HRV and flow through humidifier installation. My utility room location made this work a bit more complicated, however Mat and Mike from HomeClimatePro explained their plan to me very clearly. Important details such as maintaining good vapor barrier integrity for the long intake pipe and ensuring the units sizing and location were done very well. The after install support has been very good too to ensure proper system balancing, humidifier setup and new IAQ thermostat controls.
Now my home is well climate controlled and the air is noticeably fresh.
