I paid full price for spring clean up in March 2013. They won't come and provide the service. Rarely do they respond to my texts, emails and phone calls (If their inbox is not full) and when they do they give me another date and don't show. They won't refund my money! Terrible ethics. Have a complaint into BBB and will post anywhere possible to warn others until I get my refund.

Since filing this review and a complaint with the BBB, the owners responded asking for my postal code said they would refund in in October per their 90 days per their "policy". My response: 1. they have my contact information, they know where I live, they have emailed me and billed me before, 2. 90 days have long since passed since they have my money, 3. Why would they need 90 days to refund a service they did not purchase on my behalf or provide , and 4. there is no documented policy in any correspondence or on their web.
I repeat, I expect an immediate refund of my money.

Do not prepay for services with these people! I paid for a Groupon fall clean-up (twice the Groupon price since I had a larger yard) and when winter came early we agreed to defer the work until spring. In the meantime I moved to an acreage. Since they don't do acreages, they agreed to refund my money when I talked to them in April. Since then they have not answered numerous emails, returned phone calls or sent me my money. No respect for the customer - they take your money and then disappear.

This company is as fraudulent as they come. The owners, Joshua and Kerri are untruthful and have taken a lot of money from a lot of people without providing service. I have spoken with Service Alberta and understand they are being investigated. We prepaid over $300 for a spring clean up in the fall 2012, no service and no refund as requested -numerous times. It is unreal what these people have done.

Bought the Living Social coupon thinking I could try this company out and see how they do and maybe hire them for more services. Had a quick response right away and was promised an appointment in two weeks. A month later, no call and no appointment. Could not get a hold of them through e-mail and the answering machine was full. Finally 2 months later got a call and was advised that the coupon is no longer valid. Offered to do the service again for twice as much ($100). I said that I only wanted to spend the original amount and they agreed. They set an appointment for a Saturday and did not show up. Terrible company, weak communication and bad customer service. Luckily I did not pay upfront. How can a company stay in business with such bad customer service?

Monster Aeration was paid for "spring" services in Fall of 2012, has missed appointments, failed to notify us of missed appointments, and is now claiming, that after 9 months of holding our money, that they require another 90 days to refund us our money. Absolute lack of customer service, planning, forethought, and simple common respect for their customer.

Same story here. It's been two weeks. Had a call back the first day, but I was out at the time. Tried to call back but voice mail full; left my number by text. I have emailed and phoned several times since and nothing. I have contacted Living Social for a refund.

I paid for my service in October to be done in the spring. It took me two weeks in the spring to even book a date. Then after canceling in us 5 times I had enough. I had already said if you are too busy to so the service please refund me and ill go elsewhere. Finally I got ahold of the owner and was promised I would recieve the refund that day. Surprise surprise no refund yet and my lawn is now knee height and impossible to mow with my push mower! Nice people but have over stretched themselves and are not good at keeping promises. Yes it rains but your still running a business.

Monster Aeration came to my home and did a beautiful spring clean up. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. I will be booking for fall to clean up my yard again.

UPDATE #3 (Jan. 17/14): Despite all the promises and comments that Joshua wrote here, like expected, they did NOT come through with the refund. Everything is in Services Alberta's hands now. They are in the process of trying to hunt Kerri and Joshua down to serve them with instructions and they are evading services. Please DO NOT do business with these two people. They want your money ... not your business!
UPDATE #2 (Sept. 11): Joshua promised a refund Sept. 1/13 and again NOTHING. I emailed him and he hasn't answered. No committment or integrity!
UPDATE (as of June 26): I followed his recommendation to contact them again with my information so I could be reimbursed but as I suspected, 2 emails later and Joshua STILL hasn't responded despite trying to look like the good guy below. Not sure why he would require my information AGAIN as I've been sending information, emails and voicemails constantly. Just a stall tactic ?? Joshua, if you are genuinely interested in making this situation right then you will respond to my emails/calls. And when you do, I will send an update to that effect here to let people know that you really WERE interested in resolving this. Until then, I'm only going to document the truth here!

BEWARE!!!!! I arranged snow removal for 2 families and they upsold their salt and enhanced package. They didn't show up once. Promised to refund me, and didn't. Asked if I wanted to roll the $300 credit over to the 2013/14 season and I said no! Kerri promised to get a cheque out to me 5 different times for refund and didn't. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ... THEY ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU NOTHING IN RETURN!!!!! Contact Services Alberta to file a complaint as they are already investigating them.
