From design to delivery, our experience with Rockwood Kitchens was outstanding. My husband and I had a good idea of the design we wanted however Erin’s expertise and input made it happen. She captured the smallest of details and identified and was able to explain many things we hadn’t thought of. Delivery of the cabinets took place on the scheduled date and the delivery team even ensured the correct cabinets and doors matched to our order...versus the typical “drop and run”.

We made some additional requests for parts post delivery and made contact with Christina who works at the warehouse. Even with all the issues surrounding Covid19 she responded immediately and made arrangements for contactless delivery.

We highly recommend Rockwood. The cabinets are full wood construction including the drawers and all hardware is high quality with soft closure. We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen.

I worked with Kelly from Rockwood on this kitchen and bathroom renovation, so my compliments to her for her design, site visits, and addressing all my needs and wants in this project. It was not an easy design to manage as there were a lot of angles involved in this condo kitchen and bathrooms, however, Kelly was confident she could come up with solutions, and she made it happen! I am so pleased with her work, the products that Rockwood uses, and their overall responses to any and all concerns in a timely manner. I have had many compliments on this kitchen and both bathrooms, countertops are beautiful, and I would not hesitate to recommend their services...a great company, and a great staff!!

I am VERY pleased with the supports and service I received from Rockwood Kitchens. My designer Desirae was absolutely fantastic to work with. She listened to my needs and offered several design options to fit my budget. She was instrumental throughout the entire process and kept me well informed about dates and expectations. The quality of the cabinets is fantastic. The counter tops and backsplash look phenomenal. I have received so many compliments on the kitchen. Our RockWood kitchen is both beautiful and elegant. It was the style of cabinetry that drew us to this company and especially the solid maple construction, high end closures and accessories. RockWood was very reasonably priced given the quality of all that they offer. It was successful in both design and function due to the excellent help from Felicia in the Peterborough office. She was a constant help in every way from prelim to completion. She has a great design sense, was always cheerful and not daunted by our many changes and/or challenges. She was very thorough and a pleasure to work with. We look forward to working with Felicia again! Love our Quartz counters too! Can’t say enough! Great experience!

Rockwood recently renovated our kitchen and we are very pleased with the results. From the planning stage to completion. Kelsie was informative and was always available to answer our many questions. The installers were neat and did great work especially the workmanship on covering our bulkhead. I would highly recommend Rockwood

Our contractor recommended Rockwood for our new kitchen install and we could not be happier. The entire experience was a pleasure and the cost totally surprised me. We have done many renos in the past and used everything from Ikea to complete custom in doing the kitchens. I will use Rockwood from now on. From the moment we met Kelsie, things could not have gone any smoother. We came into the showroom with measurements and some good ideas. Kelsie listened to what we wanted to do, took the measurements and within a few days had a complete set of drawings for us. WE both made a few changes and had the final plan. Then the final measure was done and we made a couple more changes and we were ready to go. Rockwood supplied the cabinets, the countertops (quartz), the hood fan, the sink and the Crown moulding. The install took less than 3 days and everything was done to perfection. The process was easy, the product was exceptional, the install was perfect and the price can't be beat. Don't even think of looking anywhere else.

When we moved to our fixer upper we knew that the kitchen was going to be one of many things that required updating. Because we were on a tight budget we weren't sure that we would be able to get what we wanted...
Thank goodness for Rockwood Kitchens! With the help of our designer Desirae, we put together an incredible kitchen! She understood our needs and made helpful suggestions and definitely helped us to stay within budget!

We have had a great experience with Van and Felicia at Rockwood Homes. After installation of our new kitchen, we did have some minor problems with our Lazy Susan's, but through customer support and great involvement from Van and Felicia, everything was dealt with most satisfactorily.

From the beginning, Felicia at Rockwood Kitchens (Peterborough location) was very helpful. While we already had a basic layout created, she was able to adapt and improve on our base layout, providing us with some excellent suggestions for use of space and to optimize aesthetics. Very good (Excellent) communication throughout. I cannot stress how important this is and how well I was kept informed, reminded and followed up with throughout the experience.

We also had a great experience when we dropped in and spoke with Kelsee at the Ajax location. We went in to the Ajax showroom to have a look and Kelsee was very helpful with helping us to make decisions on finishes, etc., and then communicated our choices with Felicia to bring it all together. The products in the showroom were of exceptional quality and, while the styles of cabinet are somewhat limited, this made the process much simpler (although choosing from an endless supply of countertop options was a task, LOL). The build quality of the Rockwood-supplied cabinets is quite good, and seemed to have a more substantial feel than those offered by Ikea which, while cheaper, feel cheaper.

Everything was checked and double checked during each stage. Products were delivered on time as promised and the installer (Monty) was punctual and consistent in his work. Monty did a fantastic job on the install, involved me in some of the decision making processes and ultimately, came up with the best possible solution to a few of the awkward areas in our kitchen. He left the work area tidy and was a pleasure to chat with as well.

Finally, the icing on the cake... the countertops. Ly came out to measure and answer any questions I had. He was thorough and asked questions that I had not considered. I was shocked to learn that our countertops were prepped and ready for delivery well ahead of schedule!!! The gentlemen that accompanied Ly were very careful and delivered and installed the countertops (which were exceptionally heavy) without issue... however, this was the only area where there was a hiccup.

Unfortunately, there was an error made that we did not catch until the island countertop was installed (wrong colour, but it matched our perimeter cabinets). That said, the installer was very apologetic and offered to remove the (very heavy slab) and have it replaced without question. We opted to live with the slab that was delivered as it worked well in the layout. In fact it has grown on us quite a bit!!! We appreciate that errors occur and that the Rockwood staff were very quick to respond and offer a resolution to the error. The error was not a big deal to me (life is too short to sweat the small stuff), but the staff at Rockwood took it seriously and treated me very well and more than made up for the error.

Finally, there was a follow up with a repair tech to replace a couple of doors that had small warps (I am particular), to make some final adjustments and touchups. Everything was completed to my satisfaction.

In closing, I hope that the owners of Rockwood take some time to read this review. As a small business owner myself, I cannot stress enough the importance of having quality, caring staff that are as professional as they are competent all while having an appropriate "sense of urgency" when carrying out their functions. I, personally, have yet to deal with a contractor, supplier or organization that has the ability to take on such a complex task, that requires the input/effort of so many people and bring it together so efficiently. From concept to completion, the Rockwood staff that I dealt with have exceeded my expectations and they should really be commended for their efforts because they were all exceptional and should be commended.
