Had a problem with the outlets in a bedroom and Dan came within a few hours, as was my choosing, and fixed the problem. Very quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend them.

We hired Dan for a couple of projects: preparing the electrical connections for a hood fan, fixing a ceiling fan and some other electrical problems. Dan is super professional, competent, quick and fair. He's also a very nice person to deal with. We have had some bad experiences with contractors but Dan is someone we totally trust and hire again for any electrical work in the future. Highly recommended

Dan fit us in the day before Canada Day when we explained that our home had been experiencing intermittent power outages but not breakers tripping. He came early in the morning and stayed until late at night. He refused to leave us stranded with a dangerous panel or no power in the house while we waited for someone else to be available after the holiday. He was professional, explained all the possibilities and problems as he tried to troubleshoot our issues. He stayed positive through the whole process and knew all the right things to do and who to call to avoid the worst case scenarios. We slept well that night knowing our family and house was safe with. Thanks Dan and thanks to Ron for being able to come by and help as well! We would gladly recommend you to any of our friends and family.

Dan and team were able to squeeze me in on really short notice to do m job on the breaker panel. The job was done quickly and well. I have used Dan's team before because I trust them to get the job done right.

Our home had light switches that controlled sockets instead of overhead lighting and I wanted that fixed. He came in to fix two rooms, one with an overhead fan that was mysteriously hardwired. The project took a little longer than I think he planned due to hack job by previous owner but Dan got it all sorted and buttoned up exactly as he said he would. He showed up on time, charged what he said he would, and when I offered to take care of the cleanup he insisted and did that too. I will definitely have Dan back for our next project this spring.

We woke up this Monday to a breaker that tripped and couldn't be reset; no extraordinary load or other obvious problem. Dan was able to fit us in and ended up having to do some serious troubleshooting. Turned out we had a wire in the attic, apparently damaged by water/freeze-thaw cycles, that had shorted and burned through – lucky the house didn’t burn! Dan explained everything as he went through the process and did a repair that makes us feel safe in the house again. Couldn’t ask for a nicer person or a better job.

As a contractor I have asked Danco to complete a number of my projects, ranging from a service call to a large scale addition. A great advantage to using Danco is that I don't have to be on site with them because they are courteous with clients and complete their job on time and on budget.
I would recommend Danco to anyone in the Ottawa area.

Excellent service!!! Came to fix a problem with a baseboard heater and even double checked all the wiring in the breaker panel while he was there. Great price, very courteous, will definitely recommend to friends and family!
