He was referred to me by an interior decorator whose seminar I went to once. We did another estimate with another company but we trusted the referral in the end. He did windows and doors and also patio doors for us. He was excellent. He was efficient, knew what he was doing and we never had any problems with him. He told me he was a carpenter first so he definitely knew his stuff. He was a very likeable man. I've recommended him to others and will continue to do so.

We had some windows changed not long ago. After having received a few quotes and some great comments about R.A.M. Home Improvements, we decided on the latter.
From the quoting appointment to the end of the work performed,Raymond was punctual, pleasant and professional. As a daycare center, it was important to us that the work be done in order to limit any disruptions to our programs. Not only was this achieved, but Raymond left the premises in very clean conditions (another important factor to us). We will definitely be contacting R.A.M.Home Improvements again for any future needs. Thank you and keep up the great work!

I got a recommendation for them from a friend and although we compared prices with other companies, I trusted the referral, they were local and their price was comparable. They replaced a whole bunch of windows for me and everything was fine. The service was great and it was all good.

He's done quite a lot of work for us:
-He put in new doors(bedroom doors)
-In our condo he put in bathroom,closet, and bedroom doors (14 altogether)
-In two of the spots the cupboards were mirror doors on a track so he put in doors that open out so I can see everything in the cupboard (he had to put in jams in for them)
-He put in a beautiful multi glass surface on an oak door and it’s absolutely gorgeous!

He's very efficient, fast, very professional, and when he gives you a quote he sticks to it. He does everything very professionally and there’s no mess afterwards. I’ve had a fair amount of carpenters come into my home over the years so I know how people work, so for me to be so impressed with him is really a testament to him and his hard work. He also always kept me up to date on when he was coming and when the materials would be coming in. I'd give him the highest mark!

Heard of RAM through my wife. Requested an estimate to replace windows. The price was competitive and product quality excellent. Chose RAM . Replaced all windows in three phases over a number of years (for financial reasons). Minor issues were addressed and fixed quickly. Very happy with the windows and doors. Exceptional tradesman takes pride in a job well done and customer satisfaction.

We gathered quotes from several window companies before deciding that we wanted R.A.M. for the job. Ray was professional and meticulous when it came to installation. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new windows or doors.

R.A.M did great job installing front and patio doors in our house.Estimate and the start of actual work was on time .We have been a little afraid that it is going to be a lot of mess,but the job was done precise and clean.Price was right too! We would recommend R.A.M.Keep up good job,Ray!

I had several contractors visit my house for an estimate. Most would do it in stages by different people- the "rough" estimate, the "exact measuring" estimate- done by someone else. And finally the person doing the actual work could be just out of trade school with no real expereience- especially if some unforeseen things occur like some wood rot for example.
With RAM, Ray did all these three things himself. The person doing the actual work was therefoer every familiar with the house and his 25 years was an added bonus. I also checked out other houses he had worked on all the clients were very happy with him
Ray is an excellent carpenter and is tedious in doing the job "perfect" the first time. He also repaired some header and sheathing problems and all the work was first class.

Late in year, found out window frame was severely damaged. Ray Marin came, took measurements, provided good estimates. Did a good installation job despite cold and snow. Very satisfied with job done.
