Had 4 outlets replaced with GFCI's. Very prompt service very fast and reasonable rate. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for electric work in the Hamilton area.

Moved in Burlington in December and when we tried to hook up our electric dryer ILO the previous owner's gas dryer, we realized that we could not get it powered on, We then discovered that it was not connected to our main electric panel. a hot tub had been installed and the last 240volt was used to power it. The panel was full and could not hold any more breakers. We called Stack Electric and they replied within minutes with a promise to call us. Kevin called quickly and offered the solution to replace the panel which was acceptable. He also offered to come the next day, a Sunday to come disconnect our AC and plug our dryer in its place so we could function with a dryer.

Tracie and Kevin handled contacting the city to arrange for the power to be shut off and they showed up as scheduled, on time and completed the work on time. Actually while we were waiting for the city guys to come back, they helped me fish some cable through the basement ceiling.

All in all, an extremely good service experience and would use them again for sure!

I’m a repeat customer - since buying our first home, last year, Kevin and Tracey have been over a few times to solve a few wiring mysteries and replace various fixtures (including a fan in a gazebo). We will continue to trust their expertise with our future electrical endeavors.

Today, December 31,2017 i blew a fuse and not liking to touch anything in the fuse box, my husband had a look. Now, my husband has terminal cancer and tried his best to have a look, unfortunalty, he had no luck so I called Stack electric. 2 people came, one was an apprentice, did not remove their snow covered boots and proceeded into the rec room (caprpet on the floors) well it took them 5 minutes to find the problem which was 3 fuses. And now the punch line, the price was $254.25 for 3 fuses. I belive this was taking advantage of the situation and i certainly would never call these people again. They need to reconsider the price

Problem from an outlet knocking out the power to two rooms in the house , the technician pin pointed the problem and with his knowledge and professionalism problem was solved quickly and efficiently.

Stack did what they said they would, when they said they would, and for the quoted price. Great advice, sensible talk. I would hire them again.

I’ve been without bedroom lights for a while and after trying to fix them using unqualified electricians,I finally decided to get them done professionally.As per great reviews,I contacted Stack Electric and they were nothing but a great help and very informative also.

I had Kevin and Tracey out to my house a few months ago to take a look at some kitchen pot lights that kept going out. They were very informative, giving me very detailed information about how the lights worked and what was causing the problem. They provided me with a solution to the issue, noting that it would be unclear if the solution would work in the long term, but that it may work and therefore avoid the need for replacing all of the lights. A few months later, we realized that the solution did not work for us long-term, and therefore asked them to come back and replace all the lights. They were able to come within a few weeks to install all new lighting in the kitchen for us. They were again very information. They gave suggestions on light bulbs we could purchase for other light fixtures in the house based on our preferences and gave information about how best to use the lights and switches they installed. They also took a look at a couple of other minor issues we were having with other lights and provided some solutions without cost. They are very friendly and work efficiently as a team.

The only thing I was not 100% satisfied with was that in the process of changing the pot lights, two tiny areas of the ceiling were ruined adjacent to the newly installed lights. While I felt this was a reasonable level of damage and it was not due to mistreatment or poor workmanship, my husband and I are not handy ourselves, and will now have to repair these holes ourselves. Kevin did let me know which product to purchase and how to fix the tiny holes. Based on my experience with other electricians, I feel it is probably typical for them not to do these repairs themselves...though it would have been really really nice had they gone beyond expectations and brought a bit of caulking to do the repairs.

We will be sticking with Stack Electric in the future given their quality of work and excellent customer service.

The outlet for our clothes dryer melted and took the dryer plug with it.

Kevin and Tracy were able to come over within 48 hours and checked our house to make sure there were no problems with the system, then replaced the outlet and the dryer plug. They only charged an hour + parts, and were thorough, friendly, fair, and professional.

In a separate case, they also helped resolve an issue for my mother-in-law at her apartment and did so at what I would describe as a very generous rate.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Stack and they've become the go-to electricians for my family. Highly recommended!

Tracie and Kevin arrived right on time and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for what I considered a very scary job. The fact that you both took the time to explain what was being done, showed me the results and answered all my questions was much appreciated and put me completely at ease.
I will definitely call/recommend Stack Electrical for any electrical needs, I may have/hear of, in the future.
