Called him and within the hour he was at our doorstep. Assessed the situation and spent 3hrs+ completely re-installing our dryer hose through the house.

We moved into our house 8 years ago and replaced the washer/dryer 6 years ago. Our clothes have always been dry after a cycle and we've always had lint on the walls behind our stackable washer and dryer (in a tight space in the basement) so I didn't think anything was wrong with our dyer until I just happened to notice that air was not coming out of our outside vent one day. I had no idea how much of a fire hazard a blocked vent potentially could be until I started researching on the internet. In my online search to find a solution, I called a duct cleaning company but soon realized that they would only blow or suck out the vent and they wouldn't really properly assess or "clean" my dryer vent. I felt like if I wanted it done right (and once) that I should call in someone who was specifically skilled with dryers. Tyler responded within hours and the appointment was booked for the next day. Tyler was on time, incredibly knowledgeable and put me at ease reassuring me that he could clean my vent and access the tight space in the laundry room as well as the exterior vent under our deck (not a pretty job). Once he started his investigation, our problem turned out to be worse than expected in that our existing tubes had corroded and Tyler advised that they would need to be replaced - something that he could do as well. Everything was done onsite the same day and I could not be happier with the service and the results. The force of air that now comes out of our vent is incredible, our laundry room is lint free and most important, I feel like we took the right steps to ensure we are safe. After seeing the crap and the blockage that I had in my dryer, I have told my friends and family to proactively get their dryer vents cleaned - even if they think they don't have a problem.

The service was excellent. Arrived at the appointed hour and the work was done professionally with everything explained to me. This visit included dryer/vent cleaning, vent and exhaust replacement etc. Well worth it.

I live in a relatively new town house with a dryer vent that extends along the wall of my living room. I noticed water marks on the wall so I asked Mr. Johnson from Dryer Vent Wizard to check it out. He took pictures before and after cleaning revealing improper installation of the venting. He worked on a ladder 8 M up in the cold and snow to clean out the vent. We contacted an appliance repair service thinking that our dryer was not operating properly. It would take several attempts to dry the clothes, we knew something was wrong. The serviceman assessed our dryer and told us it was in good working condition. He recommended the Dryer Vent Wizard. We made an appointment with the Dryer Vent Wizard for the next day. Tyler called ten minutes ahead of the appointment to confirm that he would arrive shortly. Tyler quickly discovered that our vent to the exterior was clogged with a lot of lint. He cleaned it and checked the exterior vent for air flow. Tyler explained the process as he cleaned the vent and looked for the exterior vent. Tyler is very professional and knowledgeable, we were very pleased with his service and would recommend him to anyone with a vent issue.

We contacted Mr. Tyler Johnson, Dryer vent Wizard, concerning a problem we were experiencing with our clothes dryer. It was taking twice as long to dry a load of clothing. We had a local appliance contractor in to help us but he indicated that we didn't have a problem. Mr. Johnson knew immediately that we had a major concern and proceeded to help us. What he found in the elbow of the vent was a mixture of lint and insulation left by the home builder's contractor. It measured larger than a softball in baseball. The possibility of a vent fire was imminent especially since we used the plastic piping connecting our dryer to the vent. ALL HAS BEEN FIXED BY THE DRYER VENT WIZARD. It's easy to not even think about your dryer vent as long as it's working. We're pleased that we got a heads-up from a newspaper article and called Dryer Vent Wizard to check ours out. We'd had the flexible, silver-coloured type venting for years. Tyler, the owner, called at 8:15 to advise that he would arrive on time at 8:30. Explaining that our venting was a fire hazard, he advised that the venting would have to be replaced to meet code requirements, but first he tested the air flow and temperature and let us know the dryer itself was working well. He did the job in an hour, took away the old venting and other debris, and left the work area clean. Tyler was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and professional, and left us with peace of mind. Knowledgeable and friendly service. A call to let me know within a half an hour when he would be arriving. A speedy analysis of the problem, reasonable estimate and education on the dos and don'ts and safety practices. Work done on the spot and carefully tested. Everything cleaned up and put back better than when he started. All-around super service!!

Our 4" dryer vent pipe was 2" clogged with lint! Tyler (owner) showed us pictures of the before and after. While the lint removal was cool enough, the tool he used to effortlessly move our stacked washer and dryer, was something out of a space movie. One reason I hesitated having Dryer Vent Wizard come out and have a look, was that I couldn't imagine trying to un-stack the washer and dryer. Tyler assured me that he had the equipment to do the job, and sure enough he did. Tyler move the stacked units, and clean our dryer vent. While the units were moved, we took the opportunity to fix the flooring, and Tyler came back the following day to move the units back into place for us. Our new floors were fully protected as the space gizmo glided the stacked washer and dryer back into position on a bed of air.
Very pleased with the professionalism of Dryer Vent Wizard, and would not hesitate to recommend this company. After reading an article on dryer vent fires, I can sleep much better at night with a load drying... knowing that my family is safe and the lint has been fully removed.

Seems pricey, but the technician was here for a long time, cleaning the lint from the dryer and vent, and replaced a flaky connector at the back of the dryer. He was able to show me before and after pictures and airflow measurements, so i know that the job was done right. The dryer dries clothes in half the time now, I'm sure this service will pay for itself in no time with reduced energy costs, not to mention eliminating a possible fire hazard. Highly recommended!!
