Skilled Taper

We are very happy with all the work that Edward did for us. ! He did an excellent job and has met all of our expectations. His quote is reasonable as well. We would highly recommend Edward and we would not hesitate to call him again for other projects. Thank you Edward !

Initially I though all the reviews here were just too good to be true. I am glad I took the chance because the job was not only done well but he is hard working, easy going personality, and shows up as agreed. I waited untill I got around to painting before submitting the review so I could see the wall finish more critically. The joints are seemless, corners are done well... he even did some extra work in the stairwell. He put steel corner on outside corners, used a taping machine to properly mud the paper. He is a tradesman not a hobbist or part-timer as his company name suggest... HE IS A SKILLED TAPER!

I renovated 2 rooms in the basement - one being a bathroom and the other my future home gym room. I had Edward mud, tape and completely finish all the drywall surfaces (new drywall, and many patches in the ceiling). Edward's work was amazing!! I even had an existing hot tub that he had to work around and he did it beautifully without any issues. Edward was quick, very professional, and extremely clean. And his work - FLAWLESS!! We just painted the rooms this weekend and they look outstanding!!! I will always recommend Edward to everyone I know! Thanks Edward!

Had Edward do the drywall plastering works (taping, mudding, and sanding) of my basement renovation. He was very easy to deal with, gave me a quote when he came to visit and no hard selling.

I am satisfied with the workmanship and with how he contained the dust while sanding. Also felt comfortable leaving him alone in the house to do his work.

Would definitely recommend Edward to anyone who's looking for a skilled taper.

We had a 10/10 ft room to renovate downstairs. Ed came on time and finished the job as promised. His skills are amazing and he is a very polite and nice person, too. We were very lucky to find him. He installed the ceiling too all by himself and did a stellar job. We painted alone the room after and we were amazed by the quality of this job..Highly recommended! Thank you Ed!

I had my ceiling skim coated with 2 coats and sanding. I had a huge horrible looking hump/ buldge on my living room ceiling. Now everything looks awesome and is also buldge is also feathered out nicely.

I would recommend to anyone wanting to go from popcorn ceiling to smooth ceiling.

Ed is truly a skilled taper. I have a basement with existing walls crackling under wallpaper, popcorn ceiling and new walls where the renovation was done. I was afraid that anyone from a mile away could tell the old walls from the new ones, the popcorn wasn't winning any awards either. I called Ed and he priced out the job with a reasonable price at the same time offered to take down the popcorn ceiling. Ed reassured me that the walls and ceiling will look like new and no one will be able to tell. I was skeptical. What a job he did, he taped the new walls, skimmed the old walls and went to town on the popcorn ceiling. The entire basement looks like it's all new drywall. Everything was left sanded ready to paint. I primed the walls and couldn't find any imperfections. Fantastic job. I will be calling Ed again for my upcoming project.

Amazing job! Perfection! Excellent customer service and skills! Needed plastering ceiling and walls, also drywalling some rooms and taping the drywall. Eddie did a great job and was very pleasant to deal with :-)

Edward did beautiful job sanding my daughter's bedroom. We used to have popcorn sealing, I did removed it myself, but had no clue how to make a sealing looks flat. Plus we had some new walls and repairs done with insulation with old ones. After Ed finished taping, plastering and sanding it was pleasure to paint.
Also he did sand our powder room. My husband tried himself, but as soon we started painting you can see a lots of imperfections. Ed fixed everything. Now I have gorgeous powder room.

He was quick to come quote, which was nice since we wanted the job to progress soon and he spent the time to look himself so there was confidence in his price. He was not the lowest price bid but was the most professional and personable.

During the work he was very nice and good to talk with. He was flexible with his hours and did a great job.

Sanding was minimal so it helps when a pro dies it since there is less dust for sure.
