Golden Valley Decks

After looking at five contractors for our significant project, we selected Ryan of Golden Valley Decks; I found Ryan through Homestars, we hired him because of a gut feeling that he would do the best job and be true to his quote. We were not disappointed but thrilled with their performance and results. Ryan and his crew created a beautiful new composite deck in our backyard using quality materials and meticulous attention to detail and added extras we didn't ask for but certainly appreciated, at no extra charge. His idea to add an arbor was the perfect finishing touch. And he got it done in four days so that we could enjoy as much of the summer on our new composite deck as possible. We strongly recommend Ryan to anyone looking for this type of service.

Golden Valley Decks gave our family an awesome deck. Ryan was a pleasure to deal with. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He provided a 3d design of the deck to ensure we were comfortable with the project. The deck was on par with many of the high end decks you see on TV at an affordable and reasonable price. His craftsman ship is second to none. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a deck.

I had several quotes for a fairly large deck we wanted built for a little while now. Deck is a total of 640sq ft and two levels. We also had a full surround bench with flower puts built in as well as a long 12ft privacy screen that work like California shutters built. Ryan had built a friend of ours deck and we were so impressed we knew we had to have him build ours. Ryan and his crew work very fast and were really accommodating. We always felt like he was listening and was willing to do anything to make sure we were happy with our project. In the end, Ryan built us a really fantastic deck, even included a couple of really nice extras that we hadn't talked about and he didn't charge extra for them.

Ryan is a true professional. For anyone out there who has had a bad experience with a contractor (I have), I can tell you ryan is not that guy. Truly a great experience and a really great deck builder. I would recommend ryan to anyone who is looking to have their deck built once, built right and built beautifully.

We have reviewed few other contractors and companies for our deck project, Ryan arrived, we immediately knew was the person we want to deal from the start. He provide a sketch/design of our deck, took measurements, suggested a modern looking layout, gave us an excellent quotation. After few days Ryan came back to install the posts and next day the wood was delivered, Ryan started the project and two days later we had a dream of deck, just beautiful, excellent design. We contacted Ryan by email, he called me back the same day and was able to drop to take measurements for the quote. He was patient with me and took time to explain his plan. He sent us an email with a 3d design shortly after. We saw other projects on his website and we liked what we saw, the price was what I expected to spend, so we hired him. The following Monday he poured the cement footings, started the deck on Thursday and finished Friday. My neighbour said she hadn't seen anybody work that hard in a long time. I have a shared driveway with my neighbour, Ryan was very careful to contain and minimize the sawdust mess, which helps to maintain a good relationship with my neighbour. The finished product was beautiful, better than we expected, added a bench, bar top railings and solar lights. Great communication from start to finish, no complaints, 10/10 would suggest to a friend.

Ryan is an awesome guy to work with. We've gone through multiple revisions of the design, even during the construction phase, and he was always open to any change requests I've made. In the end, he's built me an awesome deck for me and I am 100% satisfied!! I highly recommend this company to anyone who's looking for a deck contractor.
