Ceiling Specialists: Popcorn Ceiling Removal

My ceilings look spectacular!!! I am so pleased with the work that was done. I am a very picky detailed person and I have to say that the work done was perfect. Louie and his teamwas responsive, always available, on time and completed the work quickly without compromising quality.

Having stucco/popcorn removed is a very messy business but they managed to contain the mess to the drop sheets. The crew were so careful, respectful and a competent. We just bought a 26yr old Condo and started renovating. We wanted to get rid of the old dirty popcorn ceiling and got a few quotes. Some were fly-by-night operations, and some wanted $8/sqft. Louie (owner) came by to quote and noticed some loose taping and a bow in the ceiling that nobody else mentioned. He took his measurements and wrote everything down, then explained the process, and broke it down in the stages of work. So to be economical, I chose to paint it myself after it was smoothed and primed, which is good for a DIYer, and saved me some money.
The ceilings look great, my wife says the rooms look bigger, and I would recommend them highly. (Actually I already have, in the elevator, to another resident looking for the same thing)

Louie and his team have done an excellent job of removing my stucco ceiling, installing about 40 pot lights, and painting the entire house. The team members are professional and polite. The work was done on time, within budget and Louie provides excellent customer service. He will fix any issue right away. Louie and his crew were excellent from start to finish. Would recommend them for any ceiling project. It was great having them come into the house and remove the stucco on the ceiling and put up the crown moulding before we moved in. Really gave the house an updated look. Don't think you have to live with Stucco on your ceiling. It's worth having it removed.

Nick removed the Stucco on all three levels in 1 day, like I said it was an extremely messy job and I did not envy him at all, but he was thorough and did a great job.

After the Stucco was removed Alex came in and did the preparation and painting of the ceilings, which he did an amazing job and I was surprised that the ceilings not only looked 100% better but they gave the appearance that they were higher without the stucco on them. The ceilings look beautiful and they were worth every penny that it cost, I can honestly say that this is definitely an area that is worth spending the money on to have the ceilings done properly and by a team of knowledgeable professionals. Nick walked the home with Alex and showed him areas that would require some work and watching the two of them I felt assured that the job would be completed in a very thorough and professional manner.

Once Nick was done with his 'magic' touch to my NOW beautiful ceilings, it was Michael's turn to spend the time painting the majority of the house. I have painted in the past and have paid to have painting done, but I have to say that the quality of workmanship that Michael brought was so far above anything that I could have done and 200% better than other company's that I have paid to have painting done in the past. Michael started from the very start and made sure that anything that needed to be repaired or plastered was taken care of before he even dipped his paintbrush in the paint. All I can say is WOW, what an outstanding and spectacular job was done with all the painting by Michael. It is evident in the quality of work that was done that Michael takes pride in what he does and does it beautifully.

I would highly recommend this company if you are looking to have ceilings done or painting in your home. They will not disappoint you and they are competitive with their pricing. You may find others for less but I caution you that at the end of the day, you get what you pay for and with this company you will definitely get your money's worth and more! At the close of my job both Michael and Louie told me that if there were anything that I noticed that was missed or if I needed any touch ups after I moved my furniture back in they would come back and take care of it for me. I was so impressed with the quality of the work that I am having them back to do some more work and painting to the outside of my home.
