A1 Property Maintenance

I found A1 Property Maintenance through Kijiji when I was looking for some help cleaning up an overgrown yard with long grass and weed after my tenant moved out. Ashley was very quick and responsive to visit the site and provided a very reasonable estimate. The work was completed the next day - less than 24 hours since our contact. I'm very happy with the professional service and will definitely recommend them to anyone I know.

Very punctual service. Normally the snow is removed before the following day morning. Courteous employees. Very dependable service. Invoice promptly at the end of the month. As we are senior citizens the employee drops in end of the month to collect the money.

A1 Property Maintenance did a great job maintaining and caring for my lawn. They provided friendly, professional, dependable and worry free service all summer long. I am very happy with their work.

A1 property has been looking after my property all year round for about 2 years now.
In the summer my yard looks amazing and in the winter my property has always been taken care of.
I've had issues in the past with previous companies and I'm glad I found a1 property!! I never have to worry.

BEWARE! A1 Property is the worst company to deal with. I acquired their lawn care services at the beginning of August. When I called the owners, Robert and Ashley Lush, they came right away to collect payment. I paid them in full for the season. Initially, Robert completed 2 services of the 5. However, after that, he just disappeared. I texted Robert numerous times and always got the same excuse that he would either come next week or that since it was raining, the service could not be done. I had to always initiate contact. After the constant excuses, I requested that he refund me the money for the services that were not completed. At first, he stated that if I was unhappy with the services he would return the remainder of the money or I could give him a chance to come the following week and complete all 3 remaining services at one time. Giving him the benefit of the doubt (my mistake), I decided to give him one more week. The whole week passed, but Robert neither showed up nor contacted me. Therefore, I texted Ashley and him and got a response that I was not going to get a refund and that “he knew people like me, who were always looking for free stuff”. I by no means was looking for free stuff. All I wanted was the services I paid for to be completed. Robert again claimed that he still had till the end of October to complete the work and would do so. As expected, the 3 services were not done by the deadline.

So to sum up, A1 Property takes your money but does not provide the services. In addition, the owners do not know how to communicate with their customers and should take lessons in providing good customer service. A reputable company (that A1 claims to be) does NOT take a customer’s money and not provide the services, and on top be EXTREMELY RUDE!

We hired Robert and his team from A1 Property Maintenance for yard clean up that had been getting behind due to working longer hours. There was weeding, trimming, cleaning up, etc. and they did a great job. I think Robert would have stayed a bit longer to finish off better but had to get to the dump before it closed so was rushed. Had a late start due to the rain. Overall he was pleasant to deal with and the prices were fair.

We live on a corner lot, so, we did not want any liabilities for snow caused accidents. We took a chance with Robert's team to do our snow removal, two years ago. This is our third year with his team, and all we have are praises for his professionalism, work ethics, and sincere concerns for his clientele. No exaggeration, but our walkways (corner as it is ) driveway, porch, are constantly, snow free. Neighbors have complimented us. Thanks Robert and your diligent team. (Henry)

So glad we hired A1 Property maintenance! Reliable and affordable. We will definitely be using them again next year! Our lawn looked awesome all summer long. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Very quick response to my request and worked in the time frame I needed the job done. They even came back without me knowing to finish a job they couldn't get to on the scheduled day. Good customer service.
