Fixed up my mid century modern chairs and they look SO nice now. Really pleased with the job and communication. Lots of great fabrics to choose from too. Good experience.

I had them make a floor to ceiling headboard with a bed frame and it came out stunning! They completed the job in one morning and I couldn’t be more please. The quality is amazing, measurements were perfect and it has taken my bedroom to a whole other level. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend!

My 18-year-old chairs are like new! ALO, Terri and Darren were a pleasure to work with. They picked up and dropped off my 10 chairs in a timely manner. Not just new upholstery but they also repaired and upgraded my chairs. I would highly recommend this company, and I will definitely use their services again!

We just had tailored slipcovers made for the seat and back cushions of our sofa. They did a fantastic job (and quick!) - it turned out exactly how I wanted it. We've been using Alo Upholstery for many years. They've reupholstered a sofa, 5 chairs and an ottoman for us over the years - plus a set of dining room chairs and 2 side chairs for my mother. The work has always been perfect and timely. HIGHLY recommend them!

I can’t say enough about the quality of the work, the customer service, and the response time of this company. All are excellent. It is so hard to find this kind of company anywhere today, but I found it through Homestars. I am not the only one to find this company amazing as you will notice in all the 10 star reviews. Terri was so very kind and helpful when deciding what to do with my good quality sofa and chair that were over 18 years old. The frames and original material were not too bad but the cushions really showed their age. They sagged so much I could feel the decking through them. Terri suggested we refill the seat cushions and add more fibre filling to the back cushions. Well, they now look brand new to us. I couldn’t be happier. Darren’s work is immaculate, such attention to detail. His workmanship is above and beyond. Alo is such a fantastic company. Use them for your furniture needs, you will definitely not be sorry. Thank you Terri and Darren, you are great. I have attached pictures, first of the before, then of the after. A note: the lines which appear to be on the couch seat cushions are just the nap of the chenille, not a fault. P.S. The second row of pictures are a repeat of the first in error, please ignore.

We needed a custom headboard insert for a full height wall frame behind our bed. Terri and the team at Alo suggested a design and neutral fabric that fit out decor perfectly. They came and measured once, then installed within a couple of weeks. The install was a perfect fit and the end result is fabulous. Highly recommend Alo for all of your custom upholstery. They are super nice to deal with and obviously proud of the work they do.

When we had the opportunity to take my grandparents' dining room set, we knew it would only work if we could get the 8 chairs redone. I was impressed by the reviews on Homestars with ALO and after my wife and I met with Terri, we knew right away that we found a trusted vendor who would do the job well. In all our meetings, calls and emails, Terri was truly a pleasure and her suggestions helped guide us to make good decisions. As you can see from the before and after pictures, the chairs are like new and will now be enjoyed by our family for many years to come.

I needed to reupholster my stools since I could not find replacements that I liked. Just picked them up - I am thrilled! My 6 year old chairs are like new again. Terri was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. She even recommended the material that I ended up with. They also went above and beyond by replacing the padding and webbing. Would not hesitate to go back and I would gladly recommend their services.

I recently had my 4 kitchen chairs re-upholstered by ALO. The experience was amazing, from the initial meeting with Darren and the excellent and pleasant communications with Terri, to the final product. As I am a senior with limited mobility, Darren came to the house with many fabric samples in colours I had suggested. Knowing I had difficulty getting around, he tried so hard to return the chairs to me quickly as possible. I would recommend this company in a heart-beat. I plan, sometime in the future, to have my grandmother’s chair redone and the only company that I will have even touch it is ALO.
