Our deck in the backyard was in need of renovation - new stairs, railing and decking. We also needed a new top railing for our front patio as well. From the first contact with Ken, we found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. The quote was more than fair and how many contractors arrive on time and finish when promised?!! Ken and his team worked so efficiently and completed our project on schedule and as quoted. Ken explained all the work he did with some great suggestions. The vinyl on our deck was in rough shape and it was time to replace it. I called a number of companies and consulted with this site and BBB and had Ken come over to give me a quote. I was very impressed with the industry knowledge that Ken had and the small extra details that would make the deck much better that no other company I contacted suggested. On the scheduled date the crew arrived and went to work immediately removing old material, repairing any wood and putting on the new product. The finished job looked great and they even removed the old material to take to the dump. Very happy with the work and glad I consulted this site.

Our 2 large decks were are difficult rebuild project which Ken contracted seamlessly throughout. Details are important to Ken and he see that his team works to his high standards. Our apartment building had a balcony that was in really poor shape. Ken came in - on a Sunday! - to see what needed to be done, and sent me the quote the same day. After checking with other companies, I stuck with Celsky and I have absolutely no regrets with my decision.

They worked fast, were professional, and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They used their fall protection gear, something I find many companies say they will do but fail to follow through on when it comes time to do the job. Ken sent me progress pictures so that I could see every step without being asked by myself to do so, a sign to me that he believes in his work enough to show you what he's doing in those areas you don't usually get to see yourself. The final product looks better than I had imagined, comes with improvements over the old balcony design yet still blends with the appearance of the other balconies.

I would not hesitate for a second to contact Ken if we need another balcony of ours redone, and I look forward to working with him in the future as our building and its balconies continue to age.

From start to finish Ken was very prompt and professional . The quote he gave was the best and he didn't have a clause which other contractors included which stated the estimate could go up should they encounter some unforseen problems. He stuck to his quote. What struck me about Ken and his crew was their attention to detail. Everyone including the railing people arrived on time which was appreciated. There was a slight problem after the fact with the pressure treated wood leaking preservative onto our lower landing after a rainfall ,leaving a large yellow stain. It took only one call and Ken arrived within a week and totally resurfaced the landing. Again very sincere and apologetic. The whole experience was very satisfying and came with little hassle unlike other encounters with contractors I've had who acted like they were doing me a favour as I was shelling out thousands of dollars. We love our deck and especially love the fact that we paid a thousand dollars less for it. I would not hesitate to recommend Celsky Vinyl and Sundecks to anyone.
