This place is a joke. Fake reviews made up by employees to make up for all the horrible reviews. The owner is a con artist ripping off seniors and fires people when he can't afford to pay them. ( I have my very reliable sources ) So far from what I've heard they've been served 4 times in the last few months from customers that have been screwed out of their hard earned money and life savings. I was lucky to be in the store to overhear a customer screaming their displeasure. Once she left I heard Michelle laughing with Carmen about how they got her good.

If you're smart you'll stay away.

I purchased a Quartz countertop from Ridgeway at the end of July and have been very disappointed with their customer service. They have no idea what to do or how to respond when problems arise. There have been a series of issues: the countertop was installed on an angle, the under-mount sink has holes in the silicone sealing it to the counter and was installed uneven all the way around (recessed in some areas and protruding from under the counter in other areas), the installers got caulking on my new hardwood floors wrecking the finish in 2 spots, the "free sink with purchase" was damaged, and the white countertop has a cut as well as marker and pencil lines sealed into it. Of all these issues the only ones I was concerned about was the installation of the countertop and sink. I informed the owner and the manager of the installation problems and was told to “leave it with them”. When I never heard back I tried to follow up by calling but was always sent straight to voicemail. This is how they have responded to all of my calls. After 3 weeks they finally came out to reinstall the counter. I am still waiting to hear about my sink. My contractor and I have tried contacting them as this has delayed my renovations and left me without water in my kitchen for 6 weeks now! No one has returned any of our calls. I am dumbfounded by their exceptionally poor customer service. I have since found out that although they have not seen it, they believe the installation of the sink is "not horrible enough" to warrant a re-installation. If I had known their standard for installation was "not horrible" I never would have given them my business.

Dealing with this company has been nothing but a pain. There are too many kitchen & bath stores out there to put up with terrible service. I have read some other reviews saying that they offer the "best prices"; however, many other stores offer the same pricing - you just have to do a bit of research. Spend some time shopping around and avoid this store!

Great Experience! I was looking for Quartz countertops, hardwood flooring and 2 vanities. I was recommenced by a friend to stop into Ridgeway Design Centre. I'm so glad I did! Michelle and Alex were absolutely amazing. So helpful and knowledgeable. I was really specific as to what I wanted in regards to my hardwood. I found a Canadian red oak hardwood that I fell in love with! Being on a really tight timeline Michelle had my material within a week and my vanities within 10 days. I also wanted to "freshen-up" my kitchen with new countertops and had Ridgeway replace my ugly laminate one with Quartz. I have found that Ridgeway Design Centre has the best prices in the GTA! It's really nice to deal with one store that does EVERYTHING!

This is the second time using Ridgeway Design Centre and I thought I wrote a review last year! I am all for trying new places, shopping around etc. but alas, Ridgeway Design was the best one for the following reasons.
1. Michelle is not only attentive to what your likes and dislikes are but she does give her opinion on why this and not that. And not in a "selling" type of way just as a knowledgeable designer and obviously from experience
2. between several other stores they were able to price match backsplash (marble) tiles for the lowest price
3. It's truly a one stop shop and NOT in a bad way. We are getting our counters, grout, and undermount sink with them. The undermount sink was half the cost of the same one at all of those places mentioned above
4. Customer service (Michelle) is amazing and very personable...she helps you right to the end and if you're unhappy, she is right there to fix it!
5. Their selection is amazing with so many choices, and price points.

First time we used them was our bathroom now we are doing our kitchen and can't wait to get it started in February.

We were very happy with the service we received from Ridgeway Design Centre - they installed our tile and did a lovely job - we would certainly go with them again and recommend them to others!

We paid over $2500 to purchase a vanity from their showroom only to realize that not only do the handles do not come installed, there are no drill holes to easily install them and when you do install them, the screw is not even long enough. You would have thought they would have mentioned this before we made the order. It was beautifully installed in the showroom. Very disappointed...now they want to charge extra to have someone install it for us. Not a very good way to do business...
