6 years ago, we decided to remove the walls that separated the kitchen from the livingroom and dining room and provided an open concept. For years, we contemplated on what design we wanted and what would make our home feel inviting and warm. We spoke to many kitchen designers who gave us great ideas but only one designer provided us with an idea and vision we were looking for. Detailed Works brought our dream kitchen to reality. So many great designers could have been available but the craftsmanship, the customer service and the professionalism of Detailed Works made it all possible. Through every discussion, through every phone call, Detailed Works was there for us. Jonathan worked side by side with our contractors to prepare and guide them through each and every step. The project was a complete main floor gut job that required the whole area torn down to studs. New wiring, new insulation, new drywall, new floors and all added features discussed to the final detail so that once Detailed Works arrived with our beautiful kitchen, the pieces to the puzzle all came into place and the quality and workmanship of their kitchen is displaced to anyone who wishes to see quality at it's best. We purchased an older condo in a wonderful building when we downsized from our family home. Jonathan and his crew completely gutted the condo, including the removal of the solarium, and delivered a beautifully finished product. We collaborated on our choices and we continue to get rave reviews especially on the kitchen, bathrooms and the built-ins. His attention to detail is unsurpassed. A number of our friends are living in homes that he has renovated and we are continually asked for his contact information.

We could not be happier with our new kitchen. After over 20 years of putting up with the kitchen that came with the house, Jonathan worked with us to completely gut and redesign the space so that it now really works for us. The craftsmanship and quality of the materials and work are superb! The project proceeded along expected timelines and Jonathan was always on top of every aspect of the renovation and responsive to our questions and needs. He provided invaluable advice and suggestions on design details, materials, and colour choices. We are totally thrilled with our new kitchen!

Our basement needed a facelift. It was unfinished for many years!!! It now boasts as a beautiful extension to our home. Our family which consist of 3 teenage daughters finally has a warm, comfortable place to relax and enjoy their surroundings. We are very happy with the fine workmanship. The stairs were installed to match our flooring. The fireplace makes you feel like you are in a chalet. The open concept provides us room to exercise, entertain or a nice quiet space to relax after a day at work or school. The fully functional bar makes it extremely easy to entertain friends and family on the weekends. Bravo to Jonathan and his crew for providing excellent service with quality products and an excellent finished look!

Jonathon and his team are very professional. We hired them to update our 80's brick fireplace and Family Room. Their workmanship is outstanding. They took pride in every aspect of their work. They covered existing flooring with tarps to protect them from damage. The team cleaned the area on a daily basis to ensure dust was kept to a minimum. We highly recommend this company. We previously had our home office done by them and look forward to having other projects in the future.

Jonathan and Cindy helped us from the start to finish of our kitchen reno. They helped us design the kitchen space. They provided referrals for electricians, plumbers, framers, etc. As well as building us beautiful, functional cabinets of course. Jonathan really helped our contractor with a lot of the project management stuff. Detailed Works was responsible for a complete kitchen renovation in our 80+ year old home in West Toronto. I was referred to Jonathan at Detailed Works Inc for the job by a friend. We hired Detailed Works for a full bathroom renovation. The bathroom was taken right down to the studs and then essentially rebuilt. We have tiled heated floor, whirlpool tub, cabinets, pot lights, whisper quiet exhaust fan. All the bells and whistle we could could desire along with the peace of mind that the work behind the walls (ie plumbing, electrical) was a good as the work we could see. Full renovation of bathroom with upgrades such as large walk-in shower. Jon communicated creative options and suggestions, his team are quality craftsmen than knew how to get the work done, respected our schedule and cleaned up meticulously daily. The best experience I've had for a decent sized project.
