I purchased a home and the home inspection revealed an issue with the breaker / water heater not meeting code. I contacted Chris and made the appointment. Chris really communicated well with me about what he was doing through the process and what my options were.
Chris was efficient and professional.

Chris and his crew did an excellent job installing a large ceiling fan in our 18 foot high living room, adding lighting to our furnace room and replacing our smoke detectors on all floors with smoke/CO detectors. They were very professional, kept the work site clean and organized and we are very satisfied with the end result.

As a landlord the calls I dread most are electrical issues, and so was disheartened to hear that one of my tenants fridge had stopped working. The problem was the outlet. I've dealt with other electrical companies and was not looking forward to finding a new electrician, as I had previously felt that I had been overcharged for work done. So, after carefully reviewing my favourite site 'Homestars', I contacted COLZ Electric and am happy to say that the reviews are absolutely true, they are professional, personable and well priced. They are flexible in their scheduling and gave me plenty of notice to get over to the unit. Tom was very knowledgable and efficient. I felt very confident in his work and have now found my new electricians!

The electrician was quick to respond and do the job. He performed the task as requested and as previously estimated. I would recommend him to my friends. He is quick and reliable.

Chris gave us a detailed estimate of how much it would cost to do several electrical jobs around our house. I needed some work done on my electrical panel so went on HomeStars and called around to see who could get the job done for the most reasonable price. Chris was great to communicate with, was willing to be flexible with my schedule, and charged a more reasonable price than the 6 other companies I contacted. Many of them were quoting me at least ~30% higher for the job.

Chris came by my place. Was on time (early actually). Promptly diagnosed the problem. And promptly fixed it. Very satisfied with his work.

After I got an outrageous quote from Canyon Electrical to do my final after doing my rough in (Thousands above what I was quoted before). I decided to find another company to do the final and compare pricing. I contacted Chris to come by to give me a quote. He was right over and had a quote for me the same day. His pricing was very fair and he took the time to explain everything that he would be doing.

Chris seemed very knowledgable and through. He even found several mistakes done by previous electricians. His trouble shooting skills was excellent and in the end was able to fix all the issues and have everything working perfectly. Im happy to say the electrical inspection passed yesterday on first visit with no deficiencies. That to me says it all. I would recommend Colz Electric to all my friends and family. I will defiantly be using them for my future house builds.

I called Chris on a weekend because my power was going out whenever I turned on the dryer & I assumed the main breaker was worn out. As I have an older panel, he had to source the part and was able to come the following Monday. He actually went out of his way to find me a better deal on the replacement breaker than his supplier initially quoted. He also took time to walk me through the steps of a future potential panel upgrade & I will definitely be calling him again if I decide to move ahead with it. Overall really impressed with the quality of service & price was quite fair.
