I used Hill's Moving and Storage this year. I am still missing A LOT of items....bed, bedside tables, 18 boxes and more. I received items that weren't even mine......so one big problem is that my items weren't securely stored in my own unit!!! Stored with someone else's items. This is disgusting.
Also, after close to a month and many, many not returned phone calls as well as a letter from my lawyer, still no word.
Their Facebook page has excellent reviews...I assume because they moderate the posts!!!!
Don't use this company....you will regret it.

Terrible experience. Crew arrived 1.5 hours late at 1.30pm. We told the owner Brandon that we had a piano beforehand and they arrived without the equipment to move it which meant 1 of the crew disappeared for over an hour to get it. Having been told that it would take 6 to 7 hours it took over 10. The owner then denied afterwards that he said that. The movers were clearly tired from the previous job making them late for our move and so they were very slow. One of the crew was on his phone more than he was actually working. Avoid this company at all costs. They promise the earth beforehand but are a very different proposition during and after the move.

Horrible experience. This was our fourth time hiring movers in the past 5 years. This is including a move from Etobicoke to Whitby which took less time including travel. This move was a 15 minute distance from a 1200 Sq ft 3 bedroom townhome (2 levels but stacked so set of stairs to get to main level) into a detached 2 level house. Our last move was from a 4 level townhome to a 3 level one. We hired 4 guys and 2 trucks in order for the move to be expedited as we have a toddler. 3 guys showed up and we're told the other called in sick which is fine it happens. 5 hours into the move a fourth guy showed up which we appreciated. That being said it took 7 hours to load the truck. The pace at the start was slow. The main guy who was in charge of the move was on the phone for a good part of the start and in the truck or slowly moving some boxes from our garage to the truck. The other movers commented on it and we could hear. The move began at 930 am and we didn't get to our other house until just after 5pm. They really hustled unloading as they could see we were upset and our daughter (who we didn't have childcare for after 5 thinking the move would be done) was getting cranky n tired. The to entire move ended at 730, $1650 later. Way more than we had even paid for a move. We spoke to the manager when we arrived at the house concerned about the time it was taking and final cost and we're told it's very normal for it to take 7 hours for 3 guys to load 2 trucks. Now we had a 24 foot truck and a 16. The 16 was loaded in a total of 10 minutes and maybe a quarter full at most. He apologized didn't realize we had a toddler and would have liked to finish the move before her bedtime. Baby or not who wants a 10 hour move? He also told us that he would try to do something about the bill but no guarantees. Nothing was done.
