I have had 100% service from Martin Lafleur and Ecogreen Landscaping and tree service. Re: negative reviews; The owner's ex-wife (of EcoGreen) has systematically and persistently posted (and asked her friends to post) bad reviews about this company, all untrue. I recommend Martin of EcoGreen to anyone wishing to do business with them.

I hiredMartin Lafleur, owner of EcoGreen Landscape & Tree Service to complete much needed tree removal services. They removed a dangerous tree hanging over my garage. Their service was impressive and their fee was the best of three quotes received. I highly recommend them if your looking for an arborist.

I hired Martin for the service of planting cedars, mulching, excavation and landscape fabric installation in early spring. He and his team arrived early in the morning, and Martin left after telling his team what to do. After they installed the landscape fabric, I found some of my plants were completely covered by the fabric in darkness. I told the team about it, and showed them pictures that I took in previous summer so they could locate where the plants were, and simply cut a hole for the plants to grow. Martin came back and saw I was talking to his team. He was upset because he thought finding the plants and made the hole was wasting time, and he was not happy with the speed of his team, so he told me "Please go back to your house and let the guys work". In fact, I left the team to do their work most of the time, and just came out to check the progress and found they did not leave holes for my perenials as promised so I tried to work it out with them.
Planting 5 cedars - they just digged and did not put new triple mix soil provided by me, they did not care if the root ball fitted into it or there was stones and sands beneath. They just planted them there but cutting away part of the root balls. all of them died in few months.
Mulching - the shady side of the garden where they started to mulch had few inches thick of mulching, by the time they worked on the very sunny and dry part of the garden, they found the mulch was almost finished, so they just put a very thin layer, which was less than half an inch and left. I had to buy more mulch and fill by myself later.
Martin is very rude, and would not complete his work as what he discussed with you at the beginning. I would not recommend to anyone.

To repair interlocking . and my red maple is a mess he destroyed the canopy . not certfied arborist . I checked him out after , Martin the so called boss is not customer friendly ,

My husband and I used this company only to regret it later. The owner, Martin told us he is a certified arborist. We trusted him, only to have him and his company kill our trees.
He is not certified and has no idea what he is doing. He over charged us, was rude to us and our neighbors. Insisted we pay cash and argued with us when we preferred to write a cheque.
Stay away from this so called company, they are trouble.

Very poor service and quality of work . Very rude owner . Will not recommend to anyone . Unbalanced and unreasonable .had trouble with damages that occurred would not rectify problem .will not use again .
