Aquata Bathroom Renovations

Throughout our 3-bathroom renovations, Peter was a fixture in our home. I trusted him (and his team) and I felt safe. We had daily check-ins to make sure that we were meeting milestones and that details were being followed accordingly. He helped us manage our expectations. He gave us our homework - tasks that we needed to complete for the follow day(S). When we hit bumps in the road (as all renos are bound to encounter), Peter was forthcoming about the issues, or his concerns. Then, we would jointly develop creative solutions that were often better than our original plans.

We have an old 50s bungalow that needs a lot of TLC. While we were waiting for some supplies to come in, Peter offered to work on other projects that were on the back burner, which was wonderful.

I am cerebral and Im constantly thinking about issues that may be encountered. When I brought these worries to Peter, he was not dismissive. He actively listened to me. More often than not, he had already anticipated the issues I was concerned over, and had plans to manage these challenges. But when we were managing some of the unplanned projects, he really listened to issues that were unsettling to me. He easily made the conceptual leaps with me, and then cleverly navigated ways through problems.

Peter is passionate and inventive. He has moments when he is in his head, quietly processing and planning things. There are times when he is a social butterfly; and then there are times when he is a bulldozer and just plows through tasks. I think these are all necessary characteristics in a great contractor.

Peter and Nick completed a beautiful full bathroom reno for us nearly two years ago. We loved working with them and enjoy looking at Peter's perfect tile work every day. When the job was completed, Peter assured us that we could always call him if we had any questions or problems, no matter how small. We haven't needed to call himeverything was perfectly installed. Recently a small strip of vinyl attached to the shower door started to come loose. I debated: should I contact him for such a small thing? I sent an email. Peter responded immediately, fit us into his tight schedule, and came out with everything he needed to repair and make a minor adjustment to the shower door. While he was here we started making plans for our next bathroom renovation. After working with Peter and Nick, I would not hire anyone else to plan and install a bathroom.

Over the past 7 years we have used numerous contractors as we renovated our house from the roof right down to the basement. Aquata has been hands down the best we have used. While we were incredibly impressed by the quality of Peter and Nicks work, it was the manner in which they did that work that stood out. They are very professional, communicated clearly and frequently and took exceptional care in keeping our house as clean as possible. I cannot believe all the equipment that Peter has to keep the job site clean. Peters knowledge and experience showed through when he patiently answered our numerous questions throughout the design and construction. Its very clear they take great pride in their work. We hired Peter to renovate our small main bathroom. We had other quotes that were either too high or did not inspire confidence in their ability to complete this tricky job. Peter impressed us by not only listening to our ideas, but also asking lots of questions and sketching out some rough designs to ensure we were on the same page. My husband and I had our main bathroom renovated by Peter in 2019 and the end result was amazing. Recently we noticed a leak that was causing the wall to bubble. I reached out to Peter for his guidance on how to fix and he got back right away to say that he'd take care of it. All we needed to do was supply the wall paint which we had saved, he would take care of the rest. Peter and Nick came by and within a few hours it was like new! I would continue to recommend Peter to anyone looking for a bathroom reno!

This is a 9 year follow up review of the renovation project of our 2 bathrooms completed by Peter of Aqauta Bath. From our first meeting to discuss the project, to getting to know him during our renovations we learned that Peter was very organized, detailed orientated and knowlegeble about renovations. His input, attention to detail, creativity and willingness to take on challenges really stood out. Peter did our bathroom Reno over a year ago. He was unbelievably knowledgeable in his craft and so friendly. He was very professional and kept on time. We noticed a bit of bubbling in the paint just this month. Even though it was after the year warranty he came within the week to fix our issue.
