My husband and I had more than one quote to replace our old deck and 2 sets of stairs with a pvc decking material and we chose Rick & Jay for the job. The job was meticulously done and looks wonderful! We had a minor issue with some screws, which Rick immediately came over and corrected. They had also dismantled our gazebo which was on the deck and put it together again. AND, they cladded the bottom of the deck for us, because they had some left over material. I would certainly recommend Detailed Decks.

My deck was over 20 years old and definitely showing its age. I had been doing some research on composite decking material. I called Rick and verbally described what I was envisioning. We met a few days later and we discussed in more detail as to what my expectations were. Rick provided me with some information and suggestions and followed up with an email which included several views of his design based on the information that I provided and the associated costs.
We agreed and two weeks later I have a new deck with a louvered privacy screen in cedar. (He also removed the existing deck)
The deck is amazing and looks identical to his specs. I absolutely love it.
Rick is the most conscientious contractor I have met. He is extremely knowledgeable; keeps communications line open, respectful of one’s time and does not take short cuts.

Replaced old deck with new composite deck. Rick and his crew were total professionals. Starting with the design. We told him what we were looking for and he came up with a number of great variations. We are so pleased with the 2 tier deck built by Detailed Decks this summer. Rick was extremely friendly, professional and detail oriented.
