I won't mention the company I work for - I'm not here to advertise. I just wanted to mention that Rubens has been coming in for product for a while now, and he is always remarkably professional. His care for his customer's projects is always on display, and he shows his obvious expertise in every interaction with us, and order he places. We're lucky to work with him, and are always pleased to see him walk in the door.

Toronto City Contracting was hired by our subsidiary company zgemi inc as a site super they started out with blow in insulation in the Attic crawl space Also batt insulation on the perimeter wall with additional 2-lb spray foam and 1/2" lbs spray foam in between floor joists for sound and heat barrier to combine with the hydronic floor system that we have, drywall team was amazing, tape team even more amazing trim Carpenter really exceed my expectation on this particular project I will definitely use Toronto City Contracting on different projects, Thanks Rubens for your full commitment to project.

Another drywall contractor fell through last minute and I used HomeStars to find another, no one I knew had any recommendations. Rubens and I met on site and he knew his stuff. I ended up moving forward with him to do the entire property. He was accessible and his teams showed up when they said they would which is a HUGE deal if timing is everything. AND they cleaned up after themselves!

I met with 6 groups bidding to provide drywall service. It was to be a very complicated project that required a strong attention to detail. It was evident quality of service/work/interaction was going to be very important on this project.
Toronto City Contracting wasn't the least expensive quote, however from an early stage I could tell that Rubens was going to be a great help in getting the job done well.
I highly recommend them and would definitely work with them again

I had great communication with Rubens who was very accommodating with extras that I included in the scope The work was done professionally, I am very satisfied.
Small hiccups at the start with delays, then during the work there was quite a lot of mess, but he had a cleaning crew come out twice a week for the 3 week period that the job lasted. Overall, I would deal with him and his company again and would recommend it to anybody.

I was happy to meet Rubens as he reviewed our project of partial drywall of a kitchen ceiling, rerouting electrical wires, re do drywall in basement washroom and replacing transition in basement washroom entrance.
He was very particular in suggesting the best solution for dry walling the basement washroom outside wall. He discovered an uneven kitchen ceiling also
I have hired 1/2 dozen contractors over the last 15 years and they all make promises for start time, when they will arrive and when it will finish. Rubens was no exception to this tactic. So some frustrations occurred .
However, he hired workers that were very experienced with dry wall and they did an excellent job. Rubens personally did the transition in the bathroom entrance.
When his drywallers ended the project by dropping their tools and leaving; my husband arrived home to a complete mess-4 hours of cleaning . We were able to negotiate an amicable solution to this and that situation is the only reason we give a 4 out of 5

Rubens was prompt for my request, he understood my urgency of this minor job in my house. I was able to get ready the house for sale.
