Popcorn Ceiling Removal

EFP Pro Services removed the popcorn ceilings in our bungalow, including a very difficult 22ft high and narrow skylight opening. They did an excellent job. Alex has a very high work ethic starts at 8am and typically leaves for the day between 6 and 6:30pm with only a few short breaks. We found them to be very accommodating (we moved to a lower level) and they cleaned up every evening before they left. Nothing but professional, ethical and courteous service at a price we thought was reasonable (the actual cost was lower than the estimated cost). I give them my highest recommendation, not something I take lightly.

Builder prices for flat ceilings are way higher. Very reasonable and quality service. We are glad we did it. Now ceilings looks great with some potlights.

Price: Having called around a few places to compare prices, these guys are definitely competitive with their pricing. Alex came to do an estimate and I was shocked at how much more affordable they were. Definitely great pricing / value.

Quality: Our house had spots of previous repairs and imperfections. Alex had notified us about it and the end result is flawless. The final product of the whole house was smooth, flat, and consistent (as it should be). Top quality for sure.

Cleanliness: Having done a bit of mudding and sanding myself, I was prepared for some mess after the project, but it was definitely cleaner than I expected. In the beginning of the project, they even said they will cover the vents when needed to prevent dust getting into the ducts. The house was well covered to keep the job clean. Very thorough job.

Other: They had great punctuality and communication, so everything went smoothly (in terms of scheduling). Quick to respond via call / text, was able to accurately estimate the project duration, and friendly to talk to. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Bonus: Alex also knows a pot light guy who's also top notch. Since they know each other, it was super easy to get both done at the same time.

This is the second time we have hired Alex from EFP Pro Services. We were so happy with our ceiling on our main floor that he did in 2020, that we hired him to redo our basement ceiling. Once again, he showed up and gave us a competitive job quote and timing.

Alex is punctual and takes great care in protecting your space before getting to work. He works fast and communicates his progress. He finished our job in the timeframe that he told us and went above and beyond by touching up a few scuff marks on our wall.

We are really happy with our refinished ceiling. If you want to modernize your place, this is a great way to do it!

We hired popcorn ceiling removal to remove painted popcorn ceiling for us on the dining/living room. The job was tricky due to water damages on our ceiling. They were prompt , on time, communication was terrific and the work was perfect.

I called Alex at 9pm Thursday evening. He showed to start my job Friday mor ing at 10am. This was after a tough time finding someone to just remove my stucco. The price was reasonable. It turns out the ceiling was painted, which requires a bit more. Alex did a fantastic job prepping, scraping, sanding and cleaning the area after. That's a number I will keep for another room or another house. He also gave me some tips for finishing after the potlights go in. Some people don't do that for you. Look no further.
You cant go wrong hiring Alex for your job.
