I hired Conner & Associates as the contractors on a ~200K full-condo renovation that included completely updating my kitchen, two full bathrooms, installing hardwood flooring throughout, moving a few walls/doors/closets, and a variety of other cosmetic improvements.

I began this project by hiring a design firm to both execute the design, and manage the project. My thinking at the time was -- having heard so many horror stories about contractors over the years -- I would have better luck if the contractor felt accountable to a design firm who could bring them lots of repeat business, versus only to me, a client who would not likely require their services again on any significant scale for a long time, if ever.

Throughout the course of the project, it became clear that Roy and his team actually felt VERY accountable to me as the client. In fact, there were several situations where errors the designers made would have cost me significantly more money if Roy hadn't been on my side helping me make the case for the designers to correct those errors at their own cost. There were also occasions where he personally went out of pocket because of his deep sense of accountability to the client and the project.

In addition to his loyalty and commitment to his client's, Roy is also a meticulous craftsperson, and the work that he does is immaculate. He is also a great problem solver and can dream up multiple solutions to the type of surprises and situations that naturally arise during a renovation project -- and he won't give up until you're happy with the result.

Thank you to Roy for saving the day! After hiring an initial plumber who cut unnecessary holes in my wall and did not resolve the issue (as my ceiling continued to leak after service), Roy fixed a leak in the hot water line, and now the problem is solved. Roy was timely and arrived when he said he would. He was professional, very calm in the situation and extremely efficient. We have had Roy in a couple of times to do work at our house, and have been extremely pleased with both the workmanship and pricing. He is honest and fair, and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend him, and plan to use his services again for general contracting.

We had an emergency with a bathroom leak. Roy was able to come and quickly assess the situation, and found that the problem was much less than we had feared and could do ourselves with some elbow grease. He was totally honest and up front with us, which, sadly, not every company is prone to doing. We need some additional work done and won't hesitate to turn to Roy again. We're very comfortable trusting him.

My roof got leak last week. And i find Roy (witch my friend refer to me) and i call him last week. He come to my house and take a look for me. And he said our shingle was bad. I have to replace. And the this week he bring his team and replacing the roof for me. Which I'm happy that he can solve my problem. The price i think it's reasonable too

We had been having an ongoing issue in our townhouse with leaks in the ceiling of the second-floor bedroom of a three-story townhouse. I found Conner & Associates on Homestars and asked for a quote. Roy was very quick to phone back and set up an exploratory meeting with his Associate Nathan the next day.

We ended up having a trough cut in the ceiling in order to identify the problems (of which they were three completely independent issues). One of which required a roofer - Roy was able to call in another Associate to fix that the next day (I was really impressed with how quickly he was able to make everything happen). Nathan did most of the work at our place - and he was courteous, polite, super hardworking and did an absolutely fantastic job - I couldn't be happier with our new bathroom. We had the walk-in shower gutted and completely rebuilt, new tiles applied to the separate tub, and laminate flooring installed. It's everything I could possibly have wanted and looks amazing. The work was completed over a three-week period start to finish in February.

Roy came every few days to check-in and to help lay the floor, set the shower doors and anytime it was a two-man job, and always made sure we knew the timelines of the project, cost options and where we were in the process. He made it easy for us to manage and understand. Every step of the way Roy was extremely communicative, easy to get ahold of for any questions, and was able to effectively explain all of the issues and what needed to be done to fix them. He made amazing recommendations in terms of where to source the tiles and flooring for the bathroom and what type to get that would best work for our space. He even gave us some aftercare tips in terms of sealing and how often to apply it - which we dearly needed as I know nothing about tiles. His pricing is also extremely fair for the quality of work.

I would recommend Conner & Associates to anyone and everyone and definitely intend to have them back for any renovations I may have on this or other properties.
