The gentlemen from Open Canopy Tree co arrived around 8:30 am. They studied the tree for height , angle and direction of leaning branches. They ensured that our neighbours truck was moved for safety and prepared to set up barriers to prevent traffic from turning up our street before the tree was to be fallen.
They prepared their equipment and made sure they would be safely harnessed before climbing the tree. They proceeded confidently working together to remove the tree.
I would recommend this company to anyone who has a tree to be removed safely.

I had a very large spruce tree that had roots above ground in the lawn and encroaching under landscaping bricks. The Mayday tree was the result of a bird dropping seed a few years ago and frequently required pruning to remove black knot. Both were cut down then roots and stumps ground by a very good crew. I was pleased with the communication with Jeremy prior to the work performed.

Open Canopy were very competitive with their quote and prompt with responses.
Their work crew was very professional and removed my huge spruce tree and ground down the stump in about three hours.
They cleaned up the yard and had the locks of wood hauled away.

Tree removal in backyard was tricky because of gardens under the tree and proximity to fence. Open Canopy came prepared with a 4 man crew, climbing hardware, pulley system and full safety gear. Removal went in a very orderly fashion with due caution for the gardens below and no rushing even though it was time consuming. Stump grinding was also very thorough with consideration for planting a new tree in the same location. Overall very satisfied with the professionalism and results.
