I contacted John to help me with Shower Valve issue. The shower faucet was leaking continuously and I knew it was time to change the washer. I had done this exercise before so I knew the routine. But the cartridge retainer shroud nut would not come off the old valve. I had tried opening with various pliers & tools. After working on it for a couple of days, I thought that the last ditch effort would be to replace the valve.

I called John after going through Homestars reviews (though I have never dealt with him in past). He tried to accommodate me with an early appointment but suggested another idea to loosen the jammed nut. The very next day I was able to accomplish the mission and open the cartridge retainer shroud nut and replace the washer. The fix worked and I had to cancel the appointment with John.

John was happy to know the outcome. I must say that I have never come across any trades person in my life who has provided good advice without being greedy for small visit. He was working for the best interest of his potential customer.

I know I am going to John if any future plumbing needs arise. I am his lifelong customer now.

I had a leaking drain pipe which I found out was cracked. Originally I was told John wasn't available but he msged me back made time in his schedule to come by the same day i called.

when I gave him an initial photo and video of the issue he gave me an initial quote so I could understand costs. When he came he was professional and let me know that they would need to cut away some drywall and replace the pipe because of a large crack from above. The dry wall was cut in a way where I could do some minor patchwork to fix. (which I'll do myself) The quote and actual cost was very close even with the need to do additional work.

He also made some minor fixes without charge as they were things he noticed, that I wasn't aware of.

I recommend this person because of his honest and fair pricing and professionalism.

John was able to provide me with a quote via a photo I sent of my leaking shower faucet and handle. I did my best to purchase the materials required, but didn't have the right cartridge. Luckily, John had one on hand as well as a new handle since mine corroded.
He explained all the issues well and showed where the issues were. He was honest and very fair with the pricing as well. He was also accommodating with the hours I was available for the service.
Overall, I would highly recommend John for any plumbing services you may need and I'll be calling him again for any future repairs!

I called Dima plumbing based on the other reviews. Our shower water was not running hot, and I suspected a faulty cartridge. Dima was at our place quickly, confirmed that was the problem, and replaced the cartridge. The water is hot again, and the pressure seems to be higher too!

We recently had a new furnace installed. There was a pipe that went to the drain but it was too tiny and always clogged with the old furnace.

Instead of getting a pump, we contacted Dima Plumbing to install a ½ inch poly tube to go from beside the furnace into the concrete and connect it to the floor drain which is approx. 3-4 feet away from the furnace. The basement was finished so they had to go into the concrete in the furnace room and underneath hardwood & tile floors.

Dima Plumbing was extremely fast with all communication and was very helpful. They did all the work in a day and even though it was a dirty job, they left everything very clean.

I was extremely pleased with the customer service that Dima Plumbing offers. I will be using their services again in the spring to switch from a pedestal sump pump to a submersible sump pump.

I needed to replace a 38 year old Crane toilet in my main floor bathroom after unsuccessfully trying to repair it. I called several plumbing companies and decided on Dima based on price and responsiveness. John and his son Andre arrived on schedule and did a great job installing a new American Standard. I also appreciated Andre's diligence cutting up the packaging for recycling and unclogging my sink. The quality and professionalism were top notch. The new toilet works great and looks really sharp. We called Dima Plumbing to install a new washing machine along with some related plumbing repairs. John and his assistant, Andre, arrived as arranged, completed the work quickly and efficiently, and were very friendly and courteous throughout.
