Albert was recommended by a friend of mine and his work was amazing and very friendly. The wires for my garage door were damaged and he explained to me how and why they need to be replaced and he repaired the attachments to it while explaining the importance of it. I highly recommend Albert and his team to fix all concerns you have with your garage door.

After calling the repair company that originally installed my Garage Door opener a total of SIX (6) times as well as emailing with ZERO response - I called Capital Garage Door Ottawa at 11:23 am and was told they would be at by my home between 1pm and 3pm today (I thought it was just a marketing pitch and said to myself ..."ya, right ..." having experienced the long wait times of previous repair guys / contractors, etc.)

Well - to my total surprise - a very friendly Albert arrived at 12:35 pm and quickly told me it wasn't my garage door opener but rather the BIG spring on the garage door had snapped in two pieces (that explains the loud bang i heard on Saturday night and thought someone was trying to break into my home via the garage!) and that broken spring was preventing me from opening the door manually (my car was trapped in the garage all day Sunday until Albert arrived today)

By 12:50 pm - the job was done and i was able to run the errands i couldn't do on Sunday.

Great work - very affordable price but most importantly at my house sooner than promised and completed professionally and quickly! He even assured me that my garage door opener was working great and no need to consider a replacement... His honest opinion was very appreciated.

I now have a new sticker in my garage with their number - I will never again call my previous installer.

Garage door broke around 12:30 p.m. Garage door repaired by around 2:30 p.m. Service by Albert the technician was polite and thoroughly professional. No muss, no fuss. This company's HomeStar rating is well-deserved.

Albert setup a window with me the afternoon prior for the morning and phoned 30 minutes before right at the start of the 2 hour window he gave me and arrived promptly. He had all the parts on hand (to which I couldn't find in any hardware store in ottawa) and also gave me suggestions on how to stop the rust which broke the cable in the first place. He also suggested the repair would last longer by replacing some brackets which also had rusted. Excellent work and a pleasure to deal with!

After seeing reviews on Capital Garage we asked them to come give us on an estimate for possible purchase and installation of new garage door. Albert came and inspected our 34 year old door and stated it still was in very good shape. We then asked him about replacing the locking mechanism and maintenance of the door and when it could be done. He stated he could do it now. New locking mechanism, door adjustment and lubrication was done.
We found Albert was prompt,efficient,quick and affordable. We would recommend this company.

Albert came to fix an older garage door that was not working. Very prompt, professional, thorough service. Diagnosed problem, replaced brackets and bearings, leveled door and inspected other components. At our request, Albert provided quotes for new doors once the current wooden ones wear out (which was very reasonable). I would recommend Garage Door to anyone!
