Peter and Daniel did an excellent job. Floors look like new and they managed to accommodate my tight schedule. I would recommend them without hesitation. Truly professional service and very nice people!

This is very long overdue as this job was completed in October 2017 but Peter and his team were a joy to work with. They were very professional and went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I were satisfied with the work. We got all our stairs and floors finished throughout the home and we couldn't have been happier. We took on quite a lot in terms of the renos but the first thing our guests compliment us on are the stairs and floors. I would highly recommend Premier Stairs and Flooring!

We hired Peter and the Premier Stairs team to build and install basement stairs including a landing, as part of our basement underpinning reno. We also decided to replace the upstairs stairs and railings, as part of the project too. There were three things that were important to us in finding the right group to do our stairs: (1) quality of workmanship (2) easy to work with, and (3) price.

QUALITY - we are beyond pleased with the finish product. The design, the construction, and the installation are all excellent. Peter's attention to detail is great, and he takes a lot of pride in his work. He is committed to getting it right - every detail from the treads and stringers, the nosing, the caulking and the painting, and railings. All elements done very very well. We selected open treads and glass railings, and the new stairs have transformed our home. And because the finished product is done very well, we're thrilled.

EASY TO WORK WITH - we worked with a lot of contractors on our basement reno, as well as on other home reno projects over the years. We would describe ourselves as very reno savvy, and we have learned the differences between contractors who are a pleasure to work with, and conversely others who are not. Without hesitation, we would describe Peter as very easy to work with. He is a good communicator, he does what he says, and he is flexible as required. We would describe Peter as a partner, and among the easiest contractors we've worked with.

PRICE - as for price, Premier wasn't the lowest quote we assessed, but also wasn't the highest. That said, we found their pricing to be very fair, and excellent value for money, given the end result.

RECOMMENDED - we don't foresee needing stairs again; that said, knowing what we know now about Premier Stairs, we'd gladly choose them again, and most certainly we recommend these guys to others.

I had premiere stairs come to my place to renovate my stairs from top to bottom. The existing stairs had outdated carpet and railing throughout but with the help of Peter I now have a fresh new look. The installers were an absolute pleasure to deal with and very professional in there work...it’s nice to see people take pride in there work. I would definitely recommend premier stairs and floors...good job Peter.

Peter and his team did excellent work in our new home. We are in love with our new staircase and floors. The stain colour and contrasting white on the stairs turned out even better than we expected. I also feel the pricing was very reasonable given the amount of time, effort and quality of work they provided. I would highly recommend Premier stairs and floors and would certainly call them again in the future.

We had a completely new set of stairs built by Peter's company to replace what were probably the original stairs between the ground and first floors of our house. The new stairs are a work of art -- silent, solid, beautiful. Working with Peter was also a joy. He is organized, responsive, attentive to detail. The work was done efficiently and everyone on the team who came to the house cares. You really feel you are in excellent hands, and you are. This is a company that goes the extra mile.

Good things come to those who wait. We waited a few months until they could get to our project but it turned out amazing. These guys were prompt, professional and easy to get along with. This job did not cause any major disruptions to normal life and everything went as planned. At some point, I'll be calling them to do the upstairs.

2/20/2018 Update:
After getting the work done there were fixes that were required. Fixes such as a loose spindle and loose post. My initial contact began in Dec of 2017 where I requested an appointment to get this issue fixed. I was more than happy to pay for it. 3 months later and after emails and texts they have failed to properly communicate a date to get it fixed. As a result, i've decided to bring in another company to fix the problems. If you are a customer that likes communication with your service providers you may face lags in communication, failed promises to address after installation issues. While we enjoy the finished product, the communication and customer service after the completed job has been poor and lacking.

All the work was done in a professional and timely manner. We are extremely pleased with the workmanship and will be using Premier to do our floors in the future. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family.
