Starway Moving

This company does not know how to pack your belongings. DO NOT USE unless you don't care about your goods. We moved across country and they certainly talked a good story however, when they arrived, on time, they were using used boxes the strength of which were compromised by previous use.
When the goods arrived, on time, is when the problems were noticed. Heavier boxes placed on lighter boxes, wardrobe boxes not used for their intended purpose and over packed. This resulted in broken collector plates jammed down the side of a wardrobe box with free exercise weights resulting in them being broken. A Corelle plate broken at the bottom of a box. Wine glasses broken at the bottom of a box. A resin statue packed is Styrofoam crushed from the top down because heavier items were packed on top of it in the truck. A wall unit suffered damage because of not being wrapped properly. Wall painting packed in the same box as a flat screen TV resulting in it being marked.
I could go on such as a lab coat found at the bottom of a box. Remember the boxes were used.
A carpet cleaner was delivered minus the solution tank. Why? machine is now useless and a replacement cannot be obtained from the manufacturer.
They courteously locked our filing cabinet but neglected to give us the key.
We have moved many times both corporately and privately and this is the first anything has been damaged.
Yes, the price was good and now we know why! We opted to unpack the boxes ourselves as their price was too high.

It was great working with Satrway folks. To be honest we were a bit worried because we read the reviews, but I would say that experience is very subjective. for us we really felt it was very professional picking up and dropping out stuff; although because I had lots of books they didn't bring all the boxes to the basement where I wanted it but left some in the garage when they dropped it. I would recommend being very specific with them and clarifying everything and I think you would be have a great experience. And above all very timely and compared to others you would save a ton.

Starway Movers has moved my furniture and belongings west and east. Each step of the way was excellent service. The admin team gave me an accurate quote and was so very helpful the entire process. I felt my moving needs were understood and the experience of the team was so beneficial to a novice like me. The movers were excellent and were very happy at how organized I was. Even during covid the move back to Winnipeg was easy and safe. I am so very happy I found Starway movers. The cost was very reasonable and so much more affordable than large companies. And the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Starway movers for any size move (mine was a large move). And the smile on my son's face when he saw his motorcycle being unloaded in perfect condition said it all!

We recently hired Starway Movers to help us relocate from Ontario to Alberta. We had interviewed a few moving companies and were happy with the feedback we were receiving. The movers at both ends of the move were fast, efficient and courteous. We are happy with our decision.

They were great! Very kind people and customer service was exceptional especially with Adam. As for the delivery team, everything was done in a timely manner especially since we only had the elevator booked for one hour! They managed to get everything to our unit, place it the location we wanted all within that hour. And, nothing was broken! So happy about that! Would definitely recommend them.

stairway movers helped me organize and move my items from Delta BC to Sherbrooke Quebec. Their movers were supportive and patient with me, as not all household contents were to be moved. They treated my items so well, and wrapped everything up carefully, even my less valuable ones. The movers at the receiving end were also amazing. My home here is complicated with difficult access, and the movers moved everything in without a scratch . I was also amazed at how quickly the did everything. The communication was also good all along. I was really impressed and pleased with my service moving accross Canada and would request their service again !!!

I recently moved from Redstone to Sage Hill Calgary and contacted Starway Moving to move my stuff. I would say these guys are really great and quite professional. All my stuff was intact and they did the moving quite fast. Keep it up!
