Craftstone

Our 2nd floor exterior wall (builder grade cement wall) was rotten due to bad workmanship with the original builder of the house.

We looked for quite a few quotes and options and finally found Craftstone from our local flyer. The cost estimation was reasonable and the sales person showed us many pictures of the jobs they have done, many of which were to address the same issue as ours.

After a few weeks' wait,( that is the only part that they could improve, but we understand, Summer is the busy season for their line of work). they came and finished the job in one day as promised. They were able to listen to our concerns and show us what they did to address our concerns. They clean up the site pretty good, there weren't any major damages on my property or anything. There were no extra cost as well. It has been close to a year now, everything seems to be good.

Overall we are satisfied with the job and the service they provide

We had our front step completely rebuilt with flagstone materials and two steps added. Faux stone work was also done along the front half of the house and the front step and garage. Work was exceptional. We've had many compliments about the work done and the new look of the house. The work added much needed curb appeal to the front of the house. The crew was dedicated, professional and highly organized. The work was done in under a week.

The installers were very professional and completed the work on time as promised. They cleaned up at the end of each day and took away all the old materials and garbage. Overall I am very satisfied with the Craftstone product and service, and would highly recommend to anyone. Good value for your money and excellent service. In November 2015, Allen, the salesperson of this company assured us that they could complete our front porch with grey flagstone. The colour was an important part of the renovation since there were many different stones incorporated in the front landscaping. Allen had assured us that the stone would be grey and showed us samples of what the stone would look like. To our surprise, most of the stones that were applied had a dark yellow discolouration to them, which has gotten worse with time. After completion of the job in 2015, we were told that, "the yellow is most likely from the acid wash done at the end. … give it a chance to cure and weather properly then we'll compare it in March." [March 2016]. We were told that they were shutting down the yard for the season and that they would need to come out to take a look in the new year (2016). So in February 2016, we got back in touch with Allen to let him know that "time" had not gotten rid of this so-called acid in the stone and even though Devinder (the stone mason), had come by to say they would replace we have not seen or heard from them since. It is now May 2017 and this company has done nothing to help correct the look of these hideous stones. We've uploaded some pictures for you to see for yourself and consider before hiring this company. Our mistake was paying upfront before the job was complete. Unfortunately, we had thought we were valued customers and that our concerns would be addressed but to no avail, …so buyer beware.

We were very pleased with the work done by Craftstone. The crew arrived exactly when they said they would, and were the hardest workers we have ever had doing projects at our house.
