Canturk resurfaced our driveway, waterproofing and interlock work at the front of our house.

I got a good impression from them from the beginning, since they were the only company out of 3 that I had contacted through HomeStars that responded to my request. They also never tried to pressure or use some "scare tactics" like other companies I had some talks.

Mihaela came to our house to take a good look and some measurements, got a good understanding of what we wanted to do and shared some ideas for things we were not sure how to deal with. We have a large tree in a complicated location close to the backyard gate and I thought whatever we did would not look very good, but we were positively surprised with the result.

I was also impressed with the Bobcat operator's skill - a previous company that did waterproofing on another part of the house left some scuffs on the wall; this gentleman did it flawlessly - even when "juggling" the old concrete porch that was removed.

There were some misunderstandings along the way which prevents me from giving Canturk a perfect rating, but they don't prevent me from recommending them. My only advice is to work with them to prepare or refine detailed enough drawings or sketches with clearly identified dimensions, and to be very specific about what you want for the "finishing touches".

From finalizing the design, to sourcing stone, to installation and follow up, this team is top notch! I don't think I've ever seen such efficiency and every single person is a top notch professional! I LOVE the job that was done, just LOVE it, see the pictures!

Canturk Paving & General Contracting Ltd. is an excellent company. The owner VELI is very responsive, professional, punctual and really cares about customer satisfaction. He has a great team of workers which is a reflection of his leadership. They were on time and on budget. The product quality was excellent. Their biggest differentiator was their commitment to return to both sites to insure product was still in good shape. We needed to fix an issue with our commercial driveway and they were quick to respond, really cared about making it right, arrived on time with a great crew and fixed the issue. Product will last forever and looks great. I would highly recommend this company for any driveway, landscaping/hardscaping needs you may have.

We called several companies to come and install an interlock patio and a small retaining wall this past summer. Canturk was super helpful from the moment we reached out to them. They came out to our house and sent us a quote in a timely manner. We wanted the work done ASAP, which they could not guarantee, but said they would let us know if they could fit us in. Lucky for us they fit us in and had the work completed in 2 days. They worked extremely hard and it looks fantastic! We dealt with Mihaela and she was great!

Canturk was a pleasure to deal with, they were efficient and friendly. They worked with us to organize a plan, located matching stones, came back a number of times to make sure we were happy with the work. They kept the work site clean and we were never inconvenienced by them. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Got quotes from several firms and this one was not the lowest, but was the one we trusted the most.

The work was done in two stages - one to remove and compact the base and the second a month and a half later to install the asphalt. We got conflicting recommendations from those quoting - but felt it only made sense to give the base time to settle as Mihaela recommended.

The guys were nice, courteous and got the job done efficiently, cleaned up well and left us with a nicely finished driveway, carefully tied into the rocks along the slope on one side.

We were very pleased with the work and would recommend them to others.

Mihaela was great, working with us to determine the scope of work and the color and type of stone for the walkway.

The work crew was very professional and efficient. The walkway was was completed in one day and the driveway was paved in 3 hours. On completion they made sure everything was clean and in order.

The price was reasonable based on three estimates I received and I was thrilled with the quality of work. I would not hesitate to recommend Canturk Paving .

Our walkway and front yard was very dated and needed to be renovated. Gail was great to work with. She promptly provided a quote which was as per expectations. We signed up the contract. The project was executed as per promised timelines. Mihaela, Veli and rest of the crew did an excellent job and were polite and professional. The crew cleaned up after the work was done. I am extremely satisfied with the final product and would highly recommend them. I will not hesitate to use them for future projects.

Canturk exceeded our expectations with the work they did on our front walkway and driveway. We had quotes from other contractors and Mihaela was the ONLY one that actually gave us any direction/design when it came to the walkway.
