We had Kar Renovations renovate a bathroom and they did a terrific job.

Kev is the best. He genuinely cares about making you happy with your renovation and takes pride in the work he does.

When he came to give us a quote we still hadn't decided about a bunch of things, like what kind of tile we wanted, which vanity, tub, toilet etc. So Kev gave us a quote on his part of the work and let us pick whatever we wanted to put into the bathroom separately. He was also always available in the weeks ahead of the renovation. He offered some money-saving tips and advice that were always spot-on.

He also started the job on time, finished when he said he would and delivered it on budget.

We're thrilled with the finished project and won't hesitate to recommend Kev to others. We've already had neighbours ask for his card.

Kev and his team started earlier than expected and met our request to finish the bathroom, His team was very respectful of mask wearing in our house. The construction area was always kept very tidy and his team worked diligently and finished within the planned schedule. It had been over 20 years since we had the second floor bathroom remodelled. The old bathroom was removed to the studs, walls and flooring. The guys did the job quickly and very cleanly. We were impressed by how little mess there was and how carefully they cleaned up each night. A new glassed in shower, vanity, toilet, sink, heater and in floor heating were installed. The lead contractor, Kev was terrific, conscientious, professional and just the kind of person you have trust in. Tile work was precisely done with attention to detail. Kev was a good communicator and involved us in various stylistic decisions providing the calm voice of experience. Kev managed the project excellently and on time. Where changes to the original contract were needed he reviewed the options with us providing his experience and expertise insuring our understanding before proceeding.
Would I work with them again — you bet!

When engaging a contractor, you always hope to find someone who is reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and reasonably priced. Finding the right one can be a challenge sometimes, especially during Covid. We found Kevor on HomeStars and took a chance with him. He did not disappoint from the start to finish.

From the start, he was very honest with his scope of work associated with the pricing and schedule.

We engaged Kevor’s team to renovate our Kitchen and foyer’s tiles. We also seek his helps to install our new range hood and coordinate the installation of our new kitchen countertop. Although the project was on the smaller side, Kevor treated us with respect and care. He is knowledgeable and takes pride in delivering a quality project on time.

To be completely honest, at first, I was worried that we would be an afterthought for him because of the size of our reno. We want quality at a reasonable budget. He reassured us many time to not worry about timing, deadline, quality and budget because he wants to make sure we are satisfy at the end.

He really kept his promises. I have never worked with a contractor that is as responsive and timely as Kevor. He started on the day he promised and completed the project early and within our agreed budget. His team was very efficient.

Not only Kevor completed his project early, he was flexible enough to come back to help us manage our kitchen counter installation and range hood installation. He really made our life easier by being flexible and keeping his promises. This is all we could hope for.

Would we work with Kevor again? Absolutely yes. He gained our trust. We are so glad we found him. Working with an honest, and responsible contractor is all we could hope for. We want to build a working relationship with him and we will reached out to him when we do our bathrooms’ renovation. Kev and his crew are amazing. The job they did renovating our bathroom and floors significantly exceeded our expectations. Kev was very effective at maintaining lines of communication and explaining every detail of the work that would be done in a way that was clear to both my husband and I (who have learned a lot in this process!). He weighs in with helpful suggestions and opinions (which was much appreciated) but ultimately leaves the final decision to be made without judgment!
