Clifford was highly responsive and answered any questions that I had. He was able to give me an estimate and provided a clear breakdown of the costs associated with the project. There were no surprises associated with the costs.

His crew was very professional. They were consistently there from 7AM and wrapped up at around 4-5PM each day. The foreman, Paddy, was communicative, courteous, and professional. They helped move the heavy stuff out of the basement.

The work was completed as promised.

We hired Pegasus to underpin half our basement and create the footings and foundation for an addition. As a middle row house we had to be very careful with the underpinning. Cliff and his team were very professional and did a solid job at a fair price.

When we purchased our home in 2016, we knew our west foundation wall would have to be rebuilt. While we were performing this needed repair, we wished to underpin our basement for higher ceilings and additional living space. After meeting with multiple contractors, Pegasus was clearly the best choice.

Not only was their quote competitive, their specialization in underpinning was a key differentiator.

Throughout the job, Cliff was from Pegasus was helpful and communicative. At mid point in the project, the sale of the neighboring home gave us the opportunity to expand the scope of the reno. No problem - Cliff and his team quoted the extra work and got to it.

We’re now back in our home and marveling at our 8 ft basement ceilings and our secure west wall. The work is great and the cost was as quoted - no cost overruns.

We will definitely be contacting Pegasus for future reno projects.

We hired Pegasus for concrete and foundation work for a new addition we were adding to our downtown Toronto semi.

I called Cliff on a Thursday and he came by to our home the next day to take a look at the job to quote it out. We had a quote in hand on the Sunday and his team literally began work the day after we signed the contract. This was impressive especially because we started work in September which is typically a busy time for concrete trades. We were lucky to have found Pegasus when they had a small gap in their schedule and even more fortunate that Cliff and his team worked hard to make it a success.

Cliff and his team were all total professionals throughout the construction process. They were quick, detailed and meticulous with their work. All in all they turned the job around in under 3 weeks They were especially good at thinking ahead and planning for contingencies.

I also want to add that Cliff’s communication and response time is the best I’ve encountered of any of the trades we’ve worked with on our large scale renovation. I would wholeheartedly recommend Pegasus to anyone needing concrete work!

Pegasus completed the work as promised. On schedule and on budget despite many logistical difficulties. Very professional and competent crew. Cleaned up before they left and left the site in good condition.

Cliff & his team completed 3 projects, and all were well done. The Pegasus team, particularly the underpinners, is a tight unit of very hard workers. With all three tasks, Pegasus employees were conscientious of my wishes, the space within & outside the house (a shared driveway necessitated daily cleaning of the work site), and the high expectations of the owner, Cliff Parker.

Underpinning included the removal of support walls, installation of new beams, lowering drain pipes and upgrading plumbing. Cliff’s selection of tradespeople (eg. plumbers) and engineers shows his good judgment. I have no doubts about the high quality of the work.

Basement Underpinning
We found Pegasus on Homestar’s and engaged Cliff and his team to underpin the basement of a 90+ year old, downtown house. It was a complex project as it called for 3 feet of additional depth to be added and the removal of all interior walls. The basement space was approximately 1,800 sq. ft. The project was not without challenge. Despite the issues, Cliff’s knowledge and approach were flawless. He was able to adjust accordingly and offer proactive solutions and advice. Cliff was also able to refer excellent supporting teams, HVAC, Plumbing & Structural Engineering. The project did take longer than planned, to no fault of Cliff. Throughout the process, Cliff was always communicating with the project manager and homeowner. Cliff went above and beyond on this project. It was a pleasure to work with him. So much so, his team was engaged to complete the interior framing and we’re hoping he’ll accept the finishing job too. We would highly recommend Cliff and the Pegasus team.

Our design and construction company hired Pegasus Underpinning and Renovations to complete the foundation and framing components of a large addition project. I'm a GC in Toronto and I initially found Pegasus on Homestars. I met with Cliff and I felt comfortable with him and his ability to complete my scope of work. The scope of work was to underpin a basement from 6ft to a finished height of 8ft. The underpinning portion was completed in a very timely manner however not rushed and done poorly. Cliff's and his crew were very friendly and they were a pleasure to work with. Cliff also excavated my backyard as well to make room for building the foundation for the addition.
