In todays economy everybody tries to stretch a dollar, but you never want to compromise on quality and workmanship. After researching we found that the Capable group not only met our needs, but exceeded our expectations. A big thank you to Yan, Ludmila, and the design and management team.

To sum up Yan and his team in one word.... you can't. Why, because AMAZING, EXCELLENT, FANTASTIC. All of these words and more sum up Capable Group. From the initial consultation, to installation and after care customer service Yan has proven to me that I made the right decision to put my trust in him and his team. My family and I are overjoyed by the final product. I know that I made the right decision to use them. How you ask, well... When you have people coming into your home and seeing the amazing work and flat out ask, "who did this and can they do it for me???" Well... that's how I know.

After talking with a number of companies, we decided to go with Capable to finish our basement. We wanted a full service company, a single point of contact we could do everything through. Amar walked us through everything, and Capable offered the best value for such an organization through their quote.

Part of the quote included a designer, which we thought was unnecessary at first, however going through the process we actually are glad they provided one because we ended up using Kate’s recommendation/design.

During construction, Ludmila and Chris were in constant contact with us, and trades always showed up when they were supposed to.

There were a couple of out of scope items, which we were warned of prior, but Yan was very helpful in working with us to stick to our budget as close as possible.

We were extremely happy with our decision to go with Capable, and our finished basement. Will definitely call them again for any future home reno projects.

Excellent work done by Capable Group. Yan and Ludmila were awesome in making this project work. A fantastic design by Kate helped us realize the space to suit our needs. All of the trades were professional, respectful and courteous to work with. The site supervisor Chris was always on top of things and answered any questions we had along the way. At the end of the project the handyman Dimitri was amazing in finishing up all of the details to complete this project. We would definitely recommend Capable Group again and will not hesitate in having them return to do other projects in our home.

This summer I hired Capable Group to fully gut and renovate my basement. I have a detached home about the same size as many in Toronto. From quote to completion Yan and Ludmilla were very professional and patient with me. They did everything to code and had the city inspector show up each step of the way. There were ZERO corners cut, which meant a lot to me. Despite the costs of rising lumber and Covid delays they didn't make any excuses. Price for the work they quoted me came in right at budget. I would absolutely use Capable group again and have recommended them to friends.
