I hired Hooman to correct deficiencies in my home from the ESA as I had discovered that there was aluminum wiring in my home. Hooman was friendly and prompt during the initial visit and quote.

Staff at H Man Electric were friendly and came as scheduled to complete the work – mostly all the work was done same day, however Hooman had to return to complete some minor components. After Hooman finished that day he told me to call ESA to have the inspector come to look at the work done. I also asked Hooman for an official invoice and paid amount in full with taxes included – Hooman said that an invoice wasn’t a problem.

I called ESA and was informed that the contractor should have initially called before doing the work to obtain a permit – after the work is finished they would also be the ones to call to book the follow-up inspection. I spoke w/ Hooman afterwards and he agreed to call ESA and have them book the follow-up inspection.

Weeks have now gone by and I have called and e-mailed Hooman multiple times to no avail. The first few times he told me that ESA would be calling him back to let him know when they would be coming and in turn would notify me, however that has not happened. I’ve tried calling last week but no answer and calls seem to fail.

Since communication has broken down – I called ESA myself last week and they informed me that no one has called them about an appointment. ESA informed me that they will send him a notice since permit was not taken prior to work being done. I followed up this week w/ ESA this week – no call yet from Hooman.

So now it’s been over a month now and no ESA inspection and no invoice – needless to say it has been very frustrating. Coincidentally I found a review on Homestars from 8 months ago with a very similar situation.

Update - 14/06/2019 - I was able to contact Hooman who told me that he had an emergency and was away for 1 month and therefore was unable to get back to me. Long story short - ESA came in for inspection last week and now just awaiting for the Elekcheck certificate.

I am probably one of the hardest customers to please as I expect the very best in craftsmanship and quality at a "fair" price. It took me about 3 months to find the perfect electrical contractor and after many failed attempts, H MAN ELECTRIC easily made the top pick. Other competing Electrical companies here on Homestars with a "10" rating were EXTREMELY difficult to reach. Voicemails would never go to a real person and would get answered late the next day. Same with emails. Now comes h... I can say H MAN ELECTRIC easily came out ahead!! Their price was fair, they were responsive on any queries, and actually cared to make recommendations or put out any concerns in the project. They were able to supply specific potlights I had requested. They were very meticulous and ensured not to damage my expensive floors! Overall, a rare and fabulous company. Will not hesitate to do business again. Highly recommended!!

They installed pot light throughout the house! Did a great job! Well done.....highly recommended. Was amazed how fast and clean the job went. Scheduling an appointment was real easy. Thank you. Hooman was really friendly and helpful.

I had the team come to my house and install 10 potlights. They did a fabulous job and were on time and courteous. I was unsure exactly where I wanted them to be located but they took the time to show me the options.

Professional electrical work they arrived on time, helped me decide on the placement of some of the exterior potlights, were master geniuses when it came to fishing wires, and did not take a break until the job was done. Not only would we have them back here to do additional work, We even referred them to our next door neighbor.

We bought an induction stove without realizing that we needed to upgrade our electrical serviceand were without a stove. After reading H MAN ELECTRIC Reviews we decided to call for help. Theyresponded immediately and found a way to cook up the stove temporarily until a date could be setwith hydro to upgrade panel. They responded to all emails promptly, courteously and with allinformation required. On the appointed day he arrived with his team and worked steadily until thejob was completed. He was clear about the equipment he was using and fixed several other smallthings he noticed while he was here.A loose light and grounded the grounded the gas waterproperly.
We really liked the company and we would call them immediately for any other electrical problems.We would recommend them without any reservations to anyone needing electrical solutions.

E-mailed on Thursday morning, got an answer within 12 minutes that they could do the installation for me & responses to my questions were made w/in minutes. Saturday fan was installed super quickly and very happy w/the service.

These guys were awesome... I tried to DIY... disaster after disaster.... h MAN ELECTRIC dispatched 2guys and in just over 2 hours they completed everything... i was amazed... these guys are knowledgeable, professional and the price is VERY reasonable.... i found them on homestars.command I am proud to say that they were the perfect choice... I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
